It is time for America and the World to let go of the reigns holding Isreal back. Isreal needs to stop these Islamic dung beatles from playing in that dirty sandbox over in the Mid East.

This is a much better case than having a powerless partner such as Abbas, that with all his supposed good intentions, is not able to enforce any agreement that Israel is constantly being forced to sign with him.

Any strong military reaction Israel will be forced to take from now on will be better diplomatically supported.

Hamas will be further isolated (they won’t be able to use Fatah’s “positive” image as a cover), and so will Iran and Syria. Abbas’ Fatah, the pragmatists, can now be supported too, now that they are separated from Hamas. The west bank can be made into an exemplary area which will show Hamastanians that Fatah can get things done to improve Palestinian lives, while Hamas can’t.

As is known, the Palestinian Authority has observer status at the UN. This means that, although it isn’t a “member”, it has representation, and votes, on a number of UN organs. The question is: If (or when) Hamas wins, do they take over the PA “seat” at the UN? Will other UN members have to sit with them? Will the US have to give their representatives diplomatic visas so that they may go to New York and attend UN sessions? (I know it’s more than one question, but they all seem to just “flow”)

And besides, wouldn’t those peacekeepers include infidel troops? What do they know about the true peace of Islam?

If you think that Palestine is doomed when it’s cut into two parts ruled by warring factions, I say let’s wait a while until the factions in those parts split into factions fighting each other and cut Palestine into three parts, or six parts, or a dozen parts. If there is anything you can count on in the Middle East, Arab Muslims can not share power and will eventually break into factions and turn on each other, each one trying to out-crazy the other.

The main down-side I see to Hamas taking over the ’strip so easily is that the Palestinian-on-Palestinian slaughter might come to an end. There’s something cathartic to watching them shoot, blow up, and cold-bloodedly murder one another instead of “Zionists” whose “crimes” consisted of things like riding a bus, or eating pizza, or going to a disco.

Oh, well, there’s always the West Bank…

However, the UN has to play the spoilsport. Apparently, Mr. DeSoto reports that things are not so wonderful and it’s all the fault of President Bush and Israel. His report to the Secretary-General says that Gaza’s economic conditions result from an aid boycott orchestrated by the US (like the EU and others participate). Moreover, DeSoto and his staff of deranged anti-semites wrote that the present chaos in Gaza is a direct result of Israel’s decision to withdraw. Therefore, they blame Israel for occupying Gaza, then they blame Israel for withdrawing under UN directives. It isn’t just Mr. DeSoto who needs to be shown the door, but the entire corrupt secretariat because it cannot be reformed for the foreseeable future.

Ambassador Bolton had begun to force reforms when he corralled the countries which provide almost 90% of UN funding to push for UN reforms. Of course, most of the General Assembly consists of foreign aid sponges who voted these reforms down. The next step might have been a devastating (to the UN) financial boycott. However, this impetus died when Congress refused to confirm Bolton to a permanent position. With a Jackass Party administration likely after the 2008 elections, there is little likelihood that a Democratic Bolton equivalent would be appointed. Hence, the UN will remain corrupt and it will continue to support Hamas, Hizballah and other murderers.
