As I write this, the Palestinian civil war is blossoming and Iran is basking in the glow of having just prescribed death for porn stars. Have at it…

It Ain’t Over ‘Til the Alien Wins
By Michelle Malkin
Wednesday, June 13, 2007
As you follow the debate over the Bush-Kennedy immigration bill, keep this cardinal rule in mind: 99.99 percent of the lawmakers who promise you that they’ll ensure the deportation of anyone who doesn’t follow their new “guest-worker” regulations are either A) lying or B) completely clueless.
Rule No. 2: Anyone who plays the Enforcement equals Kicking-Down-Doors-And-Depriving-Babies-of-Mother’s-Milk card (yes, that’s you, Geraldo Rivera) is either A) lying or B) completely clueless.
As I’ve reported many times over the last several years, the nation’s deportation abyss is governed by one reality: “It ain’t over ’til the alien wins.” Immigration lawyers and ethnic activists run a massive, lucrative industry whose sole objective is to help illegal aliens and convicted criminal visa holders evade deportation for as long as possible. Entry into this country should be a privilege, not a right. The open borders lobby has turned that principle on its head.

HRW: Fatah, Hamas executing prisoners, committing war crimes:
Gee, it’s almost like they don’t feel bound by the Geneva Conventions at all! How weird is that?

Could things get any worse for Paris?
Canadian Infidel on June 13, 2007 at 9:46 AM
EU peacekeepers to Gaza…….
When pigs fly. Hamas is trying to eliminate any opposition to it’s coming summer war with Israel. They are killing their own people to prepare the battlefield and a few EU troops with rubber bullets and bean-bag shotguns isn’t going to make them stop.

Sooner or later they’ll run out of cars to burn. That is what you meant, right? ;-)

[emph. mine]
Funny, when they kill Israeli citizens Human Rights Watch never mentions it. Pali blood is redder by them?
smellthecoffee on June 13, 2007 at 9:52 AM
and the solution……indictments, special prosecutors, the Hague…..that’ll make em’ shake in their boots.
Limerick on June 13, 2007 at 9:54 AM
Yeah right. And this–oooh look out boys. The mighty EU peacekeeping force is on the way.
Poor EU shmucks. Usually the ROE are so simple–protect the Pali terrorists from Israeli retaliation. Now they won’t know WHAT to do. I think cooler heads will prevail in the EU. They’ll realize that being caught between two heavily armed, completely amoral armed militias is no place to be. After all they are peace-keepers right. So if it’s not a peaceful situation already. . .

Laura,
Of course!
And thanks for the article. The last I heard, carbeques were at 50+ a night. I didn’t know that they’re now at 90 a night. Oh, the carbon offsets.
My favourite line from the link:
A violent youth culture has sprung up, born out of lack of opportunities, racism and a failure on both sides for immigrants to integrate into mainstream French society. The burning of 90 cars a night is the work of desperate, attention-seeking clowns, not terrorists. It is a cry for help.

Ya think?

The immigration issue is the best issue we have had in years to split the Democratic party. The majority of them want secure borders, this is one area we can all agree on, left and right. As we go through our day, talking and posting, plant the seed that secure borders first is the only way a reasonable bill will ever be passed.
right2bright on June 13, 2007 at 10:35 AM
Why do Democrats hate people in hurricane zones?
Let’s see: When dealing with a life-or-death subject like hurricanes, you can either go with a local station that has a strong signal and far-reaching presence, or go with an out-of-town station with a weaker presence and that gives YOUR area short shrift. Decisions, decisions.

Boyfriend and new girlfriend beat boyfriends ex with brass knuckles and aluminum baseball bat. Feel the love in West Palm Beach. The vid was on Youtube, but I can’t find it.
Guess what type of school they attend? Yep, alternative school.

Here.. our un-named Reuters pundit provides us with “the message” that Reuters is most interested in conveying. You see, as an American citizen anyone has a perfect right to express their opinion in the public square… Ahem… Er …. unless of course your are one of those “religious people” and then it is an INTRUSION INTO PUBLIC LIFE ! Thank you Reuters for making that clear.

More abortions in film, says the NYT?
Yep. Already vetted over at The Autopsy.

We should just anglicize all the French spellings as well. That way we’d be pissing of the illegals by choosing English & French as our two languages – and, as a bonus, we’d be pissing off the French by creating a new French patois.
The way I see it, it’s a win/win situation for us.
JadeNYU on June 13, 2007 at 1:38 PM
I’m not positive, but, I’m pretty sure HRW saying that Pali’s are committing human rights violations is a sign of the end of times.
Guess it’s only alright when they kill Jews.

Please forgive – yesterday I intended to comment on the “Muslim taxi drivers” headline, and forgot.
A colleague arrived recently at RR Airport in D.C., near midnight and had to take a taxi to the hotel in Virginia. About 2 miles into the approx. 10-11 miles ride the driver said “I absolutely hate Americans”. She “you do? where are you from?” “Iran”.
She was in shock, fear, and in need not be dropped off in the middle of the night, nowhere. He enjoyed the situation, probably condemning the American businesswomen all the way, her not being at home, in a burqa. I asked her to report the incident, which she had completely dropped.
I wonder how much of this, or similar, is going on.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/poll_voters_want_smaller_steps_to_immigration_reform_with_focus_on_enforcement
Wow, I’m shocked how the latest Rasmussen poll shows that the vast majority of American voters are racists. I’m also baffled by how its possible for “a small, tiny, minute, fraction of loud mouths” to constitute a majority of American voters. I just don’t understand how thats possible.
Zetterson on June 13, 2007 at 4:26 PM
Entelechy, amazing. Is your friend not going to report that? I think if that happened to me I would have pulled out my pen and paper and then begin asking questions. Where is your current residence? At what mosque to you pray? Do you have family here in the country? What are your hobbies? Do you have any friends here? What cab number is this? How did you come to the country? Why did you come to the country? When did you come to the country? Do you want to become an American citizen? Can I take your picture with my phone? Why did you leave Iran? Ooops sorry spilled my highly alcoholic drink. My bad.
Zetterson on June 13, 2007 at 4:40 PM
Zetterson, she now did, based on info from her taxi slip.
None of those questions can be asked when one’s life is potentially in danger. The situation was very precarious, and probably this is not an isolated incident. However, they must be elevated, no matter what CAIR would do with them.
Entelechy on June 13, 2007 at 6:03 PM
Scary and true.
Zetterson on June 13, 2007 at 6:26 PM
I’m just not sure I would be wise enough to hold back my questions.
