As I write this, the Palestinian civil war is blossoming and Iran is basking in the glow of having just prescribed death for porn stars. Have at it…

This is a better place for this spew:

OT — since we apparently have to have our green beans and power tools labeled in another language, other than just English — Not Our National Language — why can’t it be French? I like French better than Spanish.

Call it passive/aggressive, but I’m looking for new ways to piss off the illegals, and I can’t think of a better way than to tell them we speak English and French, not spanish. It’s multicultural, isn’t it? And they have that guy Sarkoszy (sp?), and he’s deporting illegals left and right. So, what the heck?

This may be of value to you AP given how often you upload videos to YouTube:

Free YouTube Uploader

Upload your videos to YouTube easily.
The name of this program says it all — it will upload videos to YouTube for you. Run the program and enter your user name and password, and it logs you into YouTube. Then select your video, and write a title and description, and add tags, and walk through the simple steps of uploading your video, including selecting a category.

It does more than just automate the process of uploading your videos, though. YouTube has a limit of 10 minutes or 100 MB per video, so the program includes a simple, easy-to-use video trimmer that lets you trim the video to size before uploading it.

It Ain’t Over ‘Til the Alien Wins
By Michelle Malkin
Wednesday, June 13, 2007

As you follow the debate over the Bush-Kennedy immigration bill, keep this cardinal rule in mind: 99.99 percent of the lawmakers who promise you that they’ll ensure the deportation of anyone who doesn’t follow their new “guest-worker” regulations are either A) lying or B) completely clueless.

Rule No. 2: Anyone who plays the Enforcement equals Kicking-Down-Doors-And-Depriving-Babies-of-Mother’s-Milk card (yes, that’s you, Geraldo Rivera) is either A) lying or B) completely clueless.

As I’ve reported many times over the last several years, the nation’s deportation abyss is governed by one reality: “It ain’t over ’til the alien wins.” Immigration lawyers and ethnic activists run a massive, lucrative industry whose sole objective is to help illegal aliens and convicted criminal visa holders evade deportation for as long as possible. Entry into this country should be a privilege, not a right. The open borders lobby has turned that principle on its head.

HRW: Fatah, Hamas executing prisoners, committing war crimes:

Armed Palestinian groups have committed serious violations of international humanitarian law during recent fighting in the Gaza Strip, in some cases amounting to war crimes, Human Rights Watch said Wednesday morning.

Gee, it’s almost like they don’t feel bound by the Geneva Conventions at all! How weird is that?

Laura on June 13, 2007 at 9:45 AM

Could things get any worse for Paris?

Canadian Infidel on June 13, 2007 at 9:46 AM

EU peacekeepers to Gaza…….

When pigs fly. Hamas is trying to eliminate any opposition to it’s coming summer war with Israel. They are killing their own people to prepare the battlefield and a few EU troops with rubber bullets and bean-bag shotguns isn’t going to make them stop.

Sooner or later they’ll run out of cars to burn. That is what you meant, right? ;-)

Laura on June 13, 2007 at 9:48 AM

These attacks by both Hamas and Fatah constitute brutal assaults on the most fundamental humanitarian principles,” said Sarah Leah Whitson, Middle East director for Human Rights Watch. “The murder of civilians not engaged in hostilities and the willful killing of captives are war crimes, pure and simple.

[emph. mine]

Funny, when they kill Israeli citizens Human Rights Watch never mentions it. Pali blood is redder by them?

Yeah right. And this–oooh look out boys. The mighty EU peacekeeping force is on the way.

The European Union would consider participating in an international force in Gaza if asked by the major players in the region, the EU’s foreign policy chief Javier Solana said Wednesday.

Poor EU shmucks. Usually the ROE are so simple–protect the Pali terrorists from Israeli retaliation. Now they won’t know WHAT to do. I think cooler heads will prevail in the EU. They’ll realize that being caught between two heavily armed, completely amoral armed militias is no place to be. After all they are peace-keepers right. So if it’s not a peaceful situation already. . .

Laura,

Of course!

And thanks for the article. The last I heard, carbeques were at 50+ a night. I didn’t know that they’re now at 90 a night. Oh, the carbon offsets.

My favourite line from the link:
A violent youth culture has sprung up, born out of lack of opportunities, racism and a failure on both sides for immigrants to integrate into mainstream French society. The burning of 90 cars a night is the work of desperate, attention-seeking clowns, not terrorists. It is a cry for help.

The immigration issue is the best issue we have had in years to split the Democratic party. The majority of them want secure borders, this is one area we can all agree on, left and right. As we go through our day, talking and posting, plant the seed that secure borders first is the only way a reasonable bill will ever be passed.

right2bright on June 13, 2007 at 10:35 AM

Why do Democrats hate people in hurricane zones?

Rush Limbaugh has long been a thorn in the side of liberals, but now, because of him, some Democratic politicians don’t even want to join with a local radio station to broadcast hurricane information.

Radio station WIOD, AM 610, has been the official channel for emergency information from Broward County government for the past year. The County Commission, all Democrats, balked at renewing the deal Tuesday, unable to stomach the station also being home to Limbaugh’s talk show.

Commissioner Stacy Ritter said she did not want to support a station that’s out of step with area politics. Ritter, a Democratic stalwart in the state Legislature before being elected to county office, cited talk shows hosted by Limbaugh and Sean Hannity and WIOD’s partnership with Fox News.

“They have every right to speak, but we don’t have to do business with them,” she said.

Judy Sarver, the county’s public communications director, said WFTL and WLRN also offered to take on the role, but that she and other emergency planners preferred WIOD because of its signal strength, numerous FM sister stations and willingness to give Broward top play.

Let’s see: When dealing with a life-or-death subject like hurricanes, you can either go with a local station that has a strong signal and far-reaching presence, or go with an out-of-town station with a weaker presence and that gives YOUR area short shrift. Decisions, decisions.

Boyfriend and new girlfriend beat boyfriends ex with brass knuckles and aluminum baseball bat. Feel the love in West Palm Beach. The vid was on Youtube, but I can’t find it.

Guess what type of school they attend? Yep, alternative school.

But the success of the recent wave of atheist books has been seen by some as a reaction to the intensity of religion in America and its intrusion into public life.

From Reuters article — Baptists see atheist books as sign of panic

Here.. our un-named Reuters pundit provides us with “the message” that Reuters is most interested in conveying. You see, as an American citizen anyone has a perfect right to express their opinion in the public square… Ahem… Er …. unless of course your are one of those “religious people” and then it is an INTRUSION INTO PUBLIC LIFE ! Thank you Reuters for making that clear.

Laura on June 13, 2007 at 9:40 AM

We should just anglicize all the French spellings as well. That way we’d be pissing of the illegals by choosing English & French as our two languages – and, as a bonus, we’d be pissing off the French by creating a new French patois.

The way I see it, it’s a win/win situation for us.

JadeNYU on June 13, 2007 at 1:38 PM

I’m not positive, but, I’m pretty sure HRW saying that Pali’s are committing human rights violations is a sign of the end of times.

Guess it’s only alright when they kill Jews.

JadeNYU on June 13, 2007 at 1:40 PM

Please forgive – yesterday I intended to comment on the “Muslim taxi drivers” headline, and forgot.

A colleague arrived recently at RR Airport in D.C., near midnight and had to take a taxi to the hotel in Virginia. About 2 miles into the approx. 10-11 miles ride the driver said “I absolutely hate Americans”. She “you do? where are you from?” “Iran”.

She was in shock, fear, and in need not be dropped off in the middle of the night, nowhere. He enjoyed the situation, probably condemning the American businesswomen all the way, her not being at home, in a burqa. I asked her to report the incident, which she had completely dropped.

I wonder how much of this, or similar, is going on.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/poll_voters_want_smaller_steps_to_immigration_reform_with_focus_on_enforcement

Wow, I’m shocked how the latest Rasmussen poll shows that the vast majority of American voters are racists. I’m also baffled by how its possible for “a small, tiny, minute, fraction of loud mouths” to constitute a majority of American voters. I just don’t understand how thats possible.

Zetterson on June 13, 2007 at 4:26 PM

Entelechy on June 13, 2007 at 2:50 PM

Entelechy, amazing. Is your friend not going to report that? I think if that happened to me I would have pulled out my pen and paper and then begin asking questions. Where is your current residence? At what mosque to you pray? Do you have family here in the country? What are your hobbies? Do you have any friends here? What cab number is this? How did you come to the country? Why did you come to the country? When did you come to the country? Do you want to become an American citizen? Can I take your picture with my phone? Why did you leave Iran? Ooops sorry spilled my highly alcoholic drink. My bad.

Zetterson on June 13, 2007 at 4:40 PM

Zetterson, she now did, based on info from her taxi slip.

None of those questions can be asked when one’s life is potentially in danger. The situation was very precarious, and probably this is not an isolated incident. However, they must be elevated, no matter what CAIR would do with them.
