I’m not 100% sure what the deal is but I think they’re running some sort of prank contest where they make the dumbest, self-consciously lame fake “college movie” trailers they can think of and let their readers decide which is the dumbest and lamest. Whereupon that movie gets made into one of their patented awful full-length features.
This one is well on its way to victory. Could be worse, I guess; the kid with the short hair has a passably pleasing Jack Black vibe to him.
