Is she really the only one we’re worried about? As far as I can see, it’s either going to be here or Obama, unless Gore steps in, and really, is there anyone of those three that any of us can find acceptable?

Unless his meaning is that Rudy has a better chance of beating her, I do not understand that sentence. Even if Clinton isn’t the Dem choice, I still want someone other than Obama, Gore (and not that he has a chance but still) or even Edwards.

This “anybody but Hillary” thing is not helpful.

I’m looking and listening to what FRED!actually has to say, as well as what he’s done, and I like what I’m seeing and hearing. He’s running a brilliant pre-campaign getting his message directly to the People, very nearly completely under and in spite the msm.

He is exactly what this country needs and he gets my full support and as much money as I can send his way.

Once fred? has to defend his pro-choice beliefs, his history as a lobbyist, and other such weaknesses, he will fall flat on his face and all we’ll be left with is a choice between those turd sandwich’s and the traitorous dems. fred? is the least qualified non-candidate in their field and the American public, unlike his groupies, are not going to be hypnotized by fake pickup trucks, bluejeans, flannel shirts, and folksy rhetoric.

Yeah. They’re still standing all right. Right under the fast transit exit for Sh*t mountain. The ‘abortion’ Guy, the ‘Immigration Reform’ Guy, and the ‘Who the Hell is that’ Guy. There they are..answering tough questions. And nobody is listening. If charisma was electricity, these guys couldn’t kick start a weed whacker. If Fred doesn’t run, you should take my advice and draft Hugo Chavez. You won’t win with any of these clowns; especially not after the immigration debacle. The base is demoralized and betrayed; and now we’re being marginalized as a bunch of know nothing racists. You won’t get them to the polls with uninspired candidates. I can stand on a stage answering policy questions; and no one would give a crap about me either. You may not believe in Thompson but your faith in the turd sandwich candidates is tedious as hell.

csdeven, you’re still on for the San Diego get-together. Just don’t suffer anything major until then and promise to vote for whomever gets nominated. Teasing you not-so-mildly :)

I think Hillary Rodham Clinton would energize the Republicans to vote, and not just in the primarys. Pretty sad when the choices are apathy and disaster.

I don’t know. Unless McCain gets the nomination, which is not bloody likely, I think the days of right-wing apathy are pretty much over. With hot-button issues such as Iran, the GWOT, homeland security and immigration, we’re going to see some pretty high conservative voter turnout IF we choose the right nominee. Throw Hillary in the mix and the turnout both for and against her should be huge among the general public.

Bottom line for me is getting the best candidate for winning the last leg of the race. (Advance notice to Senators/Reps: That attitude does not carry over to any POS bill supporters.)

Unless the Demo-brats dust off Zell Miller and run him against him, sure.

Just don’t expect me to do the same for McVain. I’d sooner pull for Satan than vote for him.

I’m not so sure about Miss Rice these days. She’s too much of a dove for my taste.

While Fred! or Mitt are more preferrable to be personally, Guiliani is the most electable nationally. He wins every poll pitted against a democrat, right?

Our chances in 2008 are weak already. Why make them weaker?
