“Lil Bush” isn’t funny, or clever, or cute, or original (it’s just animated Molly Ivins columns, may she rest peacefully ). No, “Lil Bush” is just sad.

Who cares? That runt left himself wide open to lame attacks like this when he allowed common lefty twaddle like this to ossify into pop culture “truth”. I’m sick of defending his inarticulate ass.

Exactly, this tongue tied boob has allowed the Left to dominate and drive the dialog his entire time in office. One would think he enjoys being a punching bag. Can’t wait to see the back of him.

“Lil’ Bush” shows U.S. troops firing on Iraqi civilians

Just more liberal “support” for the troops. Maybe next week’s episode will feature babykilling. But, you know, don’t question their patriotism.

Hening, I heard that show was scheduled to be done no matter who won in 2000, and that it was more of a rehash of stereotypical old sitcom bits than going after Bush.

I saw a bit of it while waiting for something else to come on. It was a bit like Benson mixed with some other boring old sitcoms. They promoted the person playing the President on other CC shows, but I didn’t see the similarities. It just seemed to be a show with a guy that was supposed to be George W. being a dolt and not associated with anything else. Kind of like Al Gore, but not as funny.

Geez, it was awful whatever it was supposed to be.

Here’s an even better question, if they are so “un-biased” as they believe, where’s the Lil’ Clinton series? Surely there are at least as many jokes about Clinton as Bush, and in Clintons case, at least they are based on truth, right?

I really don’t see this one getting picked up for additional episodes, given the target audience and extremely limited appeal.

Not to mention the hate mail.

Now I have another reason not to watch.

Entirely gratuitous, not at all fair or amusing, but sort of obligatory given whom the audience is likely to be, no?

Only if they want to COMPLETELY alienate half the population. I mean maybe Republicans wouldn’t watch this just based on it being an insult about Bush, but considering how we feel about him right now, maybe it would be cathartic.

Plus, even out of those who don’t support the war, surely not all of them think it’s funny to view our troops as civilian killers. I mean out of those who think of our troops that way, even they’d think it was a serious matter, right?

Scooby Doo…classic cartoon fun. Scrappy Doo…never before in my life have I wanted to strangle a dog. Congrats, now you’ve gotta call the ASPCA.

Nobody cared about Young Indiana Jones or Young Sherlock Holmes…nobody would care about Young Hitler, Young Rasputin, or Young Mao, either. Young Frankenstein is the only exception, and that’s only because nearly everything Mel Brooks touches is gold.

But I’m sure that lil’ Bush will be a hit! I can feel it.

It would seem that the brain trust at Comedy Central feels that enough time has passed after being attacked and it’s time again for another weak program simply for the purpose of taking cheap, unfunny shots at the President and making big laughs at the expense of the Americans who fight to protect their lifestyle to create crap. Too bad there isn’t a channel with the globes to present “Lil Mohammad”. There could be cameos by Porky Pig, Al Gore and a whole cast of characters that would actually be funny for a change.
