Oh, by the way, Allahpundit, with your last few posts, you have proven why you are The Man. Keep up the good work.

I don't even bother with NBC, ABC, CBS, & CNN. Much better coverage and more timely on HotAir. Keep up the excellent work. Sincerely, hillbillyjim

CNN at one time seemed to be hiring every Fox news employee they could. There was a guy Spencer Christian who I think was the first to defect and after a couple of months reading the teleprompter he is now back on the local news in Atlanta. Good career move huh. Who can forget Rita "That voice grates my nerves" Cosby who made a much hyped move to MSNBC only to dissappear. I am surprised Greta hasn't done a special on the missing blonde. And the latest which broke my heart was Kiran Chetry and her husband who also went to CNN. Kiran come back, all will be forgiven.
And yes I have CNN advertise on Fox for quite a while now which is always ironic. They do have Glenn Beck now who I enjoy on their Headline News channel and who apparentely has drawn the ire of Kuchinch for comments he made about the dwarfs wife. I don't seem to remember the little one defending Fred!s wife when somebody else made some less then humorous comments.
Anyway it is all one big circus and while Fox has managed to stand out in the crowd mainly because they do still cover the news MSNBC has sank into the depths of obscurity much like Air America. The left still doesn't get the message that the majority of Americans don't like crybabies. That is all MSNBC comes across as anymore. Turn over there anytime of the day and it is the same song, different verse with no new perpective. If I want a heads up on what arguments Democrat lawmakers are going to use on a certain issue I watch to get the talking points but other then that more then 10 minutes on that channel makes me head for a quiet spot.

MSNBC seems to be running documentaries and movies during the evening instead of an MSNBC production. That seems like a death knell to me. Also, dumping Imus was a major blunder since his show seemed to have the highest ratings.

The next phase of their supersecret strategy is to air 30 to 60 seconds of MSNBC's usual broadcast as an Ad on Fox News in order to see how many viewers they can get to change the channel.

According to an editor of the Oxford Dictionary, yup, it is a word. According to her, if you want a word that doesn't exist, make one up.

Headline coverage of space shuttle Atlantis launch today:

FOX: NASA saves face reaches space
ABC: Patched up Atlantis blasts off
NBC: After tough six months Atlantis in space
CBS: Shuttle Atlantis blasts off without major problems

Nuance?

I would fallen over if any would have applauded the successful launch in the headline without couching it with government(read BUSH) incompetence or doom.

I like the ad. As for the placement, that's just local buys on competing networks. pretty standard stuff in the biz.

I’ve seen Fox ads on cnn headline news before. I think its pretty normal. Probably from a media buying company, but still.

If you've seen it then we have managed to clear that up before the weekend. I have only been subjected to CNN at the airport or the gym a few times in the last year or so.
