We aren’t…we’re calling the guy a 6 year old because he’s acting like a spoiled, bratty 6 year old. If he had fallen over on his back and kicked his feet or started holding his breath, well, then we’d be sorry. (But contrary to popular belief, his face won’t get stuck that way.)

Too bad the Republicans know that millions of Americans will never cast another vote for a Democrat in the foreseeable future, no matter what the outcome of this bill is. No matter who the Republican is, they are bound to be better than a Dhimmicrat. So they have nothing to lose.

Maybe they’d take notice if those 80% decided to hold back any contributions they were going to make to both Democrat and Republican campaigns? Just stop the money flow to both parties.

If that doesn’t work maybe we should refuse to pay taxes (no taxation without representation) to a government that is not representing what an overwhelmingly large majority of its citizens want.

It feels like we’re watching what will amount to the start of a bloodless coup of our government. If this bill passes, and the expected 12 to upwards of 30-50 million illegals swamp this country, they will be choosing our “leaders” in the very near future. Since the word “illegal” means nothing to them: illegal entry, illegal workers, illegal voting won’t matter either.

I don’t think Lindsey was over the top. I think he was motivated and forceful.

I think the bad actor in this is Obama. He pretty much called Lindsey a liar. And, I don’t believe for a minute that Obama’s amendment would have “reviewed” the deal after 5 years. It would have cratered it.

If I had been Lindsey, and even though wrong-headed about this (and, he is wrong) had I been willing to put my re-election nuts on the line for this, I would have followed Obama out into the hallway and put a beer cup on his head.

You folks don’t like Lindsey, fine. I don’t either. You don’t like his position on many things, fine. I don’t either. You think he’s a feather in the wind who suffers from the illusion that he’s at a fork point in history and he’s the gatekeeper, fine. I don’t think he is either.
