I’m betting your not old enough to remmember Jacqueline Kennedy. Jeri Thompson is attractive, but she’s no Jackie Kennedy.

It’s transparent nonsense anyway. The fact is, the same snide remarks would be directed at Jeri Thompson even if this was Fred’s first marriage because it’s not his divorce that irks them….

The people making snide remarks may be moved most of all by envy, given their having made such an great moral virtue out of pity. An over-developed ability to imagine others’ pain seems to amount also to an over-developed ability to imagine their pleasure and wish it were one’s own. Whomever or whatever one can’t have, one may resent; resenting, one may despise; despising, one will insult. It seems that, in this way, the envious come to regard unattainable goods and those who possess them as evil. And if evils must be destroyed, then unattainable goods and those who possess them become targets of malice.

I’m looking forward to watching liberals, especially feminazis, tie themselves into knots trying to explain how Clinton’s inability to keep his hands off the hired help was somehow admirable, but it’s terrible if Fred shows affection for his own wife. As always, it’s a shame that they can’t choke on their own hypocrisy.

Is the fact that he’s married to this bombshell going to hurt him with the women voters?

A man with a pretty lady (I choose the word Lady on purpose) on his arm tells other ladies that this guy has something going on. Generally making him more attractive to women voters.

Hardly, but drawing some kind of convoluted parallel to Jefferson Davis’ adoption leaves a bit of an implication that maybe the CSA had some redeeming value which I certainly don’t agree with.

If the CSA had no redeeming values, why did we fight so hard to bring it back into the Union? Was it all about revenge?

Redeeming values aside, we can’t expunge the likes of Nixon and Carter from having been ‘American Presidents.’ Just because you don’t like something doesn’t change history.

So Davis wasn’t an American, and he wasn’t a President? I guess there was no justification for calling it a Civil War, then…and no justification for fighting it, either, since you’ve decided that the Confederacy wasn’t America.

Now you would have had a point if he were talking about the POTUS…Davis was never President of the United States.

She’s be the prettiest first lady ever.

Side note: Varina, Jefferson Davis’ wife was really pretty for her time, as there weren’t many pretty women back then if you look at old photos.

Maybe not, Tim. I would give one or two of this gals a chance. Think about it: they could have had an abortion but chose not to. Surely they knew it would be hard to find a husband when they already had a child, and it would be hard to raise that child alone. They didn’t take the easy way out. Says something about their character.

Been there, done that. It was a nightmare every time either for my friends who were dating a girl with a baby or for me..

I have had to end a date short or leave a movie early, because the father decided to go out with the guys and was demanding that she take the kid back. Every time he came to pick up the kid or drop her off, he only would talk bad about me. I never did anything wrong to her, but he just caused constant issues, as if he was jealous and didn’t want her around other men. This despite the fact he was sleeping with other women.

It finally culminated in a fist fight, the crappiest part was that she refused to tell the cops he threw the first punch. She said, “I don’t know what happened. He was upset, and my BF (me) was telling him to leave…”

The cop said, there wasn’t enough evidence to charge one person, only both of us.

One started hooking up with her ex when I was dating her. I would go to my church on Sunday Morning and hers on Sunday evening. So for a couple of month she was banging her ex, and having me go to church with her.

Another had her ex calling CPS on her and dragging me into a bunch of legal drama. I’d would have been worse, except that her mom stated I was never alone with the child. That cleared me of the accusations.

That was it. Too much baggage.
