If we start using them as workers, will liberals form a robot worker special interest group and demand that they get 2 weeks of sick leave a year?

Rights for robots? They have already started talking about it. That immediately brought to mind old Calvin & Hobbes cartoons in which Calvin is delightedly making little sandbox cities that are at the edge of imminent destruction.

disturbing? creepy? Hardly, in fact it's quite boring. I've seen 10 times more "creepy" and "disturbing" in some of the special effects in movies.

Um, no..the liberals are looking for a new slave race, since human looking robots ( Androids ) aren’t really available yet they are settling for Mexicans/illegal immigrants. But you can bet that just as soon as the Androids are readily available and cheap the Mexicans/illegal immigrants will be demanding it.

Not to mention 2 weeks vacation, 401k's and a limit on how many may enter the work force each year.....

Robot baby gives the impression of being boh mentally and physically disabled in comparison to the Japanese female androids. It only says 'eh eh', has malformed hands and seems oversized to be a baby.

I thought when you said baby, that it would actually be the size of a baby… no one wants a giant baby robot…. why do they keep coming up with the most useless products in Japan? They watch too much Anime over there or what?

I think they just got tired of making everything smaller and cheaper. This is how they decided to splurge.

It is creepy.

It's a real contrast when you think of how small babies and the young of animal species are endearingly appealing. Think of Knut, who we know will grow up to be more and more irascible.

We can try to reweave the Creator's beautiful tapestry of life, but we end up with a travesty instead.
