Since it is impossible to actually deport all these illegals, I want to know what happens to all who are illegal after the bill goes into affect (January 1st 2007?) It somehow is suddenly possible to deport them? Or maybe there is an automatic yearly recurring amnesty in this bill on page #468,342 that no one has discovered yet?

Sooo… these guys get stay in America for $1000, FOR THEIR ENTIRE FAMILY!, effectivly a $50 fine….

It’s easy to be informed on it if one wants to be.

I know plenty of people (the kind of people that, when the news comes on, they switch the channel to entertainment tonight) that prefer not to be bothered with details about things like the immigration bill. And yes, sadly, these people do vote.

How do you figure? We’ve been lighting up the switchboards for two weeks. It’s all over talk radio and even MSM puts out blurbs on it. It’s not that we don’t know, it’s that the Senate doesn’t care. Democracy is great, when you actually have it. The monied interests are the ones in charge on this one.

Interesting that the anti-amnesty aspect is more important to people than the border security argument.
