“Mothers Against Illegal Aliens” spokesman quits party she doesn’t belong to

No need for any “quote of the day” posts later. We already have our winner:

“It says right here,” Dallacroce said, reading three letters from what remained of the card. ” ‘P’ . . . ‘N’ . . . ‘D.’ “

Look for me on CNN sometime this week where I’ll be protesting the left’s positions on the war, amnesty, health care, and pretty much everything else by theatrically cutting up my Democratic Party membership card. Which will actually turn out to be my library card.

That’s it! I’m quitting the Dennis Kucinich fan club and cutting up my tin foil hat.

I’m shocked. Shocked! that such a handsome woman is actually a democrat. ~Cue twilight zone music…..

locomotivebreath1901 on June 4, 2007 at 5:30 PM

I don’t care what party she belongs to, please do not EVER give that woman a microphone again…

heatherrc77 on June 4, 2007 at 5:36 PM

She’s not a democrat either. Follow the links, she was a registered indy since 2004. That’s what the PND is all about, Party Not Designated. She claims it was a county computer glitch. Of course, if you’re going to be a political activist, you should know if your voter ID is accurate.

Freelancer on June 4, 2007 at 5:38 PM

Uh, I think she is honestly was mistaken. I talked to her at Kyl’s protest about 11:30 at night. I told them that I was going to un-register as a Republican (which I have now done) and she tried to talk me out of it by saying, “You need to be a Republican so you can vote against these $#)*%(! in the primary.”

I then explained to her that I can simply go back in to the GOP office (1.5 miles from Kyl’s office) and re-register as a Republican for the Primary to help bury the career of those (insert any slur you want) in Congress.

She responded, “Really? Is it that easy?”

When I said it was a simple 1 page-2 minutes thing to do, she said, “You know, I should leave the Republican Party.

She gave me her business card, which I still have in the car.

This being said, I am not a big fan of her mouth. She cusses like a sailor and that for me is just a turn off (get your mind out of the gutter). I don’t like hanging around people who cuss none stop and at least that night when she was eating pizza she was cussing none stop.

Tim Burton on June 4, 2007 at 5:42 PM

I will say that she sure can doll up. She was looking a little ragged at the protest, but I guess after 18 hours in the sun in Phoenix even Adriana Lima would look a little worn.

Tim Burton on June 4, 2007 at 5:44 PM

As Homer wrote in The Iliad: “Doh!”

(strange feeling I have my Homer’s mixed up …)

Should be simple to find out if she voted in the Primaries. That should help out. Also, I didn’t know what PND meant, I didn’t even know it existed.

Tim Burton on June 4, 2007 at 5:45 PM

Who cares what she “is/was.” What she’s doing is expressing the anger felt by many average Americans. This is one issue that will push people over all sorts of edges. I’ve seen it before first hand and when the government crams things down people’s throats they viscerally oppose, it gets really messy.

Alright, but then I’m leaving the Obama for President campaign.

amerpundit on June 4, 2007 at 5:57 PM

“You need to be a Republican so you can vote against these $#)*%(! in the primary.”

I’m already registered as an independent, so I can’t ditch the party. But at least here in Virginia, I can still vote in one party’s primary with the understanding that I won’t vote in the other party’s primary.

TheBigOldDog on June 4, 2007 at 5:47 PM

Well, where I agree that her sentiment is a totally valid one, similar to my own… Giving her that excuse is saying that the ends justify the means. Isn’t that a Lib belief?

tickleddragon on June 4, 2007 at 6:07 PM

P.N.D., huh? How about N.G.L.L.? ( Nice going liver lips).

amerpundit on June 4, 2007 at 5:57 PM

Are you going to cut anything up? It just seems to mean so much more if you cut something up; maybe a copy of People’s 50 most Beautiful People.

cmay on June 4, 2007 at 6:08 PM

Man, the republican party sucks so bad even people who aren’t republicans don’t want be republicans.

lorien1973 on June 4, 2007 at 6:09 PM

Well…good for her! I guess.

SouthernGent on June 4, 2007 at 6:09 PM

Ok, I went down to the AZGoP office and talked to the person I know. The AZGoP office did talk to her, and asked her not to cut her card up.

Presently the AZGoP is bleeding out like a sucking chest wound. So the AZGoP tried to do damage control and is trying to keep people from dumping the party. It hasn’t helped, because people are still leaving in droves.

The person was very sympathetic about the Amnesty Bill pissing people off. I was also told that Pullen is desperately trying to get the RNC to listen, but their attitude of people leaving basically, “good riddance”.

That being said, in the interest of disclosure:

I am not a Republican, I left about 9 days ago and registered as a Federalist

[Tim Burton on June 4, 2007 at 5:42 PM]

I don’t buy it, Tim.

Her actions aren’t consistent. If she was an R, then the most natural and honest thing to do is hold up your PND and say you’ve changed affiliation, not to cut up a PND card. Doesn’t she even look at the card when she gets it? Or use it? (Could she be illiterate?)

Of course, I say that because her rebuttal is inconsistent, too. Once in the system they don’t change things willy nilly, so if she thought she was an R, and been one for a while, wouldn’t she have found out in a primary when they told her she couldn’t vote in the R primary? Unless of course she doesn’t bother voting in primaries. This, of course, assumes she is right that in AZ does not have an open primary system but you seem to confirm that by your meeting account and not correcting her on that aspect.

It’s too bad the MSM too often rush cover the stories of the nutjob loudmouths, but what can you say other than birds of a feather ….

Dusty on June 4, 2007 at 6:17 PM

[Tim Burton on June 4, 2007 at 6:17 PM]

Okay, what I will buy is that she was GOP, she did switch, she brought the wrong card to cut up and was afraid to admit it. In which case, LMAO.

Dusty on June 4, 2007 at 6:22 PM

The White Stripe’s new song is supporting amnesty (click on icky thump). Too bad, i used to like them.

P.N.D. Post Neurotic Syndrome?

Captain Weenie on June 4, 2007 at 6:25 PM

Her point is valid. She likely did vote Republican and likely voted for the traitorious Kyle. The GOP just lost her a bit early. I made up for it.

Dusty on June 4, 2007 at 6:17 PM

Well, I don’t even know where my old card is. If she didn’t know what PND means, it would be an easy mistake (I didn’t know what PND meant till this thread).

That being said, I am not defending her because I like her. I am no big fan of hers. She rants and raves too much, that is minimizes her position which is ultimately right. She reminds me of McCain when he gets angry and I was in his old office once when it happened up on 24th Street.

Yea, it is a perfect example of what happens when you let anger control you.

Tim Burton on June 4, 2007 at 6:35 PM

In case you couldn’t understand what was being said in that song i linked to, here’s part of the lyrics-

White Americans, what?
Nothing better to do?
Why don’t you kick yourself out
You’re an immigrant too

So what if she is/was/going be/never was a registered republician. She can get PO’d and express her displeasure just like everyone else.

I’m registered as an Indep. simply to avoid mailings and phone calls. Being a registered Indep. didn’t stop me from voting for Republicians since 88 or stop me from donating cash to Repub’s in my state or others (Steele/Robinson) So feel free to bash me as well but the “Shamesty Bill” (thanks to Bruce Jacobs KFYI for that one) still remains a lousy bill.

BTW, I still call Kyl’s office to voice my displeasure.

VikingGoneWild on June 4, 2007 at 8:42 PM

A fraud? Really?

Yes really. Has nothing to do with MAIA. She pulled a stunt with that card and that denigrates any credibility she may have accumulated with MAIA. All this makes her insignificant and bring into question her real agenda.

Wade on June 4, 2007 at 8:46 PM

So what if she is/was/going be/never was a registered republician. She can get PO’d and express her displeasure just like everyone else.

Yes she can but she misrepresented herself and that is fraud.

Wade on June 4, 2007 at 8:46 PM

Oh please. The MSM wants you to focus on the card not the fact that there are mothers in the streets and filling recall petitions. Like I said, it’s not wonder the MSM can lead the American people around by the nose. They are easily distracted from the real issue by focusing on peripheral, inconsequential matters.

TheBigOldDog on June 4, 2007 at 9:10 PM

That’s so true. I turned on Fox News once this morning and turned off the TV less than 10 second later when they mentioned Paris Hilton. I turned it on in the evening and they mention Paris Hilton within 5 seconds, I moved up 1 channel to CNN and they were doing a story on Paris Hilton.

I turned it on one more time later in the evening, and yes, strike three, they changed to a Paris Hilton bit within 30 seconds.

I’m not exaggerating, either. I must have some awesome timing, but I’ll tell ya what, that TV is staying off for a while. When it does come back on, it won’t be showing Fox News.

reaganaut on June 4, 2007 at 9:47 PM

AP on CNN? I predict he’s a Jew. Wait, don’t hate on me, I love Jews in more ways than one (two ways, to be specific, you pervert). But I’m accepting all 25 cent bets that disagree with me!

Any takers?

TheBigOldDog on June 4, 2007 at 6:54 PM

THANKS BigOldDog!!! great point.

She’s not a fraud. What she is trying to do is save the country and it’s children. Go to an Arizona public school if you don’t know what I’m talking about. Who gives a damn about the card, she made the point you all ( almost all of you) have been threatening to do for a year.
Mothers against Illegal Aliens….not a bad way to try to help our country.
So, STFU and do something productive and quit all your bitching and threatening to drop the R yourselves.

I admire her initiative and her guts. She’s terrified of the MSM, but she goes and says what needs to be said.
And YOU? what are you doing other than writing rhetoric here and 15 other blogs?

shooter on June 4, 2007 at 11:49 PM

Kevin M on June 5, 2007 at 12:33 AM

Heh Heh Looks like the Republicans need some demonstration 101. Petitions and phone calls are ok but the illegals are kicking our ass on the street level with demonstrations.. Is this because we are lazy, complacent or afraid, mabey overconfident and arrogant. These people are ravonous and will succeed if we don’t unite against them now! P.S. get rid of that buffalo guy.

reaganaut on June 4, 2007 at 9:47 PM

Right on. Fox News is just another outlet for some Brit leftist tabloid rag, posing as conservatives for satirical humor. It’s like the news version of Borat.

Somewhere, people are laughing out loud at the notion of conservatives watching Fox.

Jaibones on June 5, 2007 at 9:43 AM

And another thing: Michelle is on O’Reilly every night for one reason, and one reason only: she’s a doll. Bill couldn’t care less what anyone has to say about anything. He’s a schmuck perv, and he puts dolly guests on in every segment that he can, with the exception of his communist and racist friends like Hernandez and Sharpton.

Sorry to say it, but there it is. She’s the best commentator on all of Fox News, but she’s there because she looks great. Welcome to Rupert Murdoch’s world.
