I just wanted to comment on the story itself. Do we really care about an age difference when both of them are over 40?

It doesn’t matter at all. The irony is that the people likely most upset by it will be the ones reading the Bible and admiring people in it who are in relationships with even greater age differences.

You understand that the “fake Fred” photo is a Law and Order promo shot and that he has little to no control over the airbrushing of it? He has given interviews with zero make up and looking quite haggard so I don’t think he is overly concerned with that sort of thing. In all fairness, Hollowpoint, csdeven is NOT a troll. If you’d paid any attention to other discussions/threads and saw his input there, you’d know this.

I’ve had my “fights” with him on the subject of Fred!, and he IS singleminded of purpose in his distrust of Fred!. This is genuine. Annoying as his highly repetitive towncryer’esque rebukes of Fredfolks and Fred are, he tends to sound like one of us (meaning righties) in most other subjects.

Now, I’m not sure what’s up with the misspellings and horrible grammar (other than he’s doing it on purpose) but rest assured, he is not a troll…or a lefty. He IS, tho, a Mitt supporter, I think. Which contributes to the nastiness toward Fred!

Please just let him cry in the town about Fred? and try to ignore any slap as his frustration at our perceived zealousness. If push comes to shove, he’s said that he’ll throw in with us if Fred! gets the nom.
