Shedding light is the only way.

If you do anything else, then terrorism has worked.

I say it would be “crazy” to knuckle under to fear.

If everyone in this country could only figure that out, the terrorists would have no power whatsoever.

It is also what Memorial Day is all about.

“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

Here we have a young man who looks them in the eye and refuses to react in the manner in which the terrorists are convinced we all would.

That is the American Spirit that every single one of our enemies has always underestimated, to their own demise.

“Give me freedom or give me death.”

Of course, I get the feeling that this particular fellow would go for the Patton rather than the Henry and say something along the lines of, “Give me freedom or I’ll give YOU death, lowlifes!”

Colossus, you don’t think that the jihadis would be able to find their way back to the store where they tried to have their 8mm video copied onto CD? I mean, I agree these guys aren’t smart, but I think they’re smart enough to remember what store they went to lol. I admire what he did, but does anyone else think he’s crazy to reveal his identity? Given the people he turned in were willing to commit acts of terrorism and murder, I’d think discretion would be the better part of valor. We don’t really know how many (if any) Al Qaeda sympathizers might be out there wanting sub cheap publicity/terrorist street cred. It would be easier for a crazy to make a statement by going after one lone guy on his way to work than to attack an Army post.

Of course, if the MSM was going to reveal his identity anyway, he might have felt it was better to give an interview and get out ahead of things.

Or, he’s simply a brave man.

At any rate, good for him for doing the right thing.
