If you ever took the time to visit Israel (which is a great nation by the way) you would realize why they do not profile based on race as it is pointless with major faiths.

I am not sure if you understand, but Islam is a religion which goes beyond race. Using race as a factor is foolish because not every Arab (or even Israeli which can look similar) is a Muslim.

What always disgusts me about these Muslim apologist groups is their willingness to lie, lie, lie about anything and everything to advance their agenda. As a society, we will never be able to make any progress with these people as long as they refuse to be honest about their actions and beliefs.

They live by a different moral standard than we do, this is a hard thing for us Christian Americans to understand as we were raised to be good boys and girls and not to lie, cheat or steal. Throw our PCness on top of it, and the situation is a mess, we’re children against men who would sell their mothers, wives and daughters to get what they want.

It is reassuring that most Muslims Mexicans have assimilated into our culture fairly well. However, we all know what a small group of fanatical Muslims Mexicans (LaRaza) are capable of and when you’re dealing with a enemy that is willing to die in their effort to kill as many as possible in the name of Allahillegally sneak into a country, well, it’s quite clear that we must remain vigilant and not get too comfortable.

The Roosevelt internment camps were nothing even remotely similar to concentration camps. Now pardon me for the smack down but this article from Michelle Malkin pretty much says it all.

But I do have to admit that you’re right doriangrey. The internment camps were not as bad as the concentration camps, but they were racially motivated like them.

I did read Michelle’s article, and although she tries to make an argument drawing the parallels between Jihadists and the Japanese threat of the day, the argument for internment camps is still very weak dealing with the former.

And even if you could identify them via facial features, there is no way our country would accept internment camps, the reason Michelle got in trouble on Bill O’Reilly a year ago. (fast forward video to 1:30)

The fundamental issue is that Islam is incompatable with democracy and tolerance of others. Islam is based on complete acceptance and obedience to it’s scripture, which includes directives to convert, conquer, or kill the infidel, among other issues (including unequal treatment of women).

All Muslims either actively support jihad or are in passive support, if nothing else by their lack of confrontation violent assault. Those that we would consider “moderate” are not Muslims at all, but apostates.

The solution is to create the enviroment for an “Islamic Reformation” that will allow “Muslims” to modify their religion without fear. Any attempt at that effort without a method to protect those who pursue such a path would surely result in immediate threats, intimidation, and lead to violet assault no matter where they are.

“Islamic Reformation” is the key to turning millions away from a cult that will use deceit and treachery without hesitation. We cannot believe a word the Muslim says because their core text advocates such methods with the “infidel”.

Our goal should be to make a broad delineation between the Muslims who support terrorism and those Muslims that shun terrorism. Those who shun it should be publicly praised and those who are apathetic or outward supporters should be publicly criticized. It’s time to demand they pick a side.

All well and good, but our experience should tell us that if we take this approach, magically all will shun terrorism and will publically speak out against it. Behind the scenes and in private, the support for terrorism against the West will continue.

What they have learned about a large portion of the American public (and Government) is Tell them what they want to hear and they will forget all else. Placate them with platitudes, so they will go back to their everyday lives thinking that they are safe.

Even if a large segment of American Muslims were to all of a sudden march en masse against radical Islam, would it mean anything? Would it mean anything coming 6 years later? It should have happened before the end of September 2001.

It’s gratifying to witness the much deserved blow-back and back-fire to CAIR’s strategic attempt to gain from this Pew poll. Members of the RoP can attempt to SPIN this poll but all they’ll get is whirled P’s (not world peace).

Internment camps=concentration camps. If our government ever resorted back to this policy (what they did with the Japanese in WW2) you would find resistance from not only most minority groups, but also spiritual ones as well (Jewish, Christian, etc.).

A better idea by far. Besides, Islam is a religion, not specifically a race, and rounding up people based on appearance would not only be ineffective, but also increase Al Qadea’s recruitment levels.
