I’ve had the occasional suspicious thought that Allahpundit might actually be a woman. If you’re going to write bluntly satiric articles about murderous Islamofascist thugs, then it would be a brilliant use of internet anonymity for a woman to gain an extra measure of personal safety by using a male nom de blog. Throw in the occasional wistful sighing over attractive women like Kirsten or MKH and you’ll really confuse prospective fatwa-crazed assassins. In this scenario the sighing over women would presumable be a clever fake; not that there would be anything wrong with it if it wasn’t.

I’ll second that. It never reaches her eyes. I have never seen a legitimate smile on her face. Not only is she despicable — she’s just plain creepy. I’ll be so very glad when her stint on The Spew is over. Did she show up for work today?
