Heh.

Here are all the numbers.

They calculated that for Diane to have gotten 8000 phone calls in the last few days, since the shamnesty bill release, she would have had to have a call every 20 seconds. How can 30,000 make it in, during the same time? Our so-called representatives!

Being one of the aforementioned guys, Elisibeth on the View, Michelle on Cavuto, Ann, pretty much anytime….Its all good fun until that look is directed at YOU! But, yes, hot.

Not just the heroin but now most of the “Meth” is coming across the border due to constraints on precursors here in the US.

Yeah Michelle is great on this topic as most and her glare equals the way I feel.

Unfortunately (as the government knows), as long as they continue to take the money from people’s income (before they ever see the money) people will continue not to realize the actual high costs of the government. I can’t count the number of friends and coworkers I have that get excited because they’re getting money back at tax time. They all say “I didn’t have to pay any taxes this year! I got $N back!!!”. They never quite get it when I try to point out that they did indeed pay taxes since they paid in $N x 10 in taxes and only got $N back.

Instead of paying higher costs for our veggies and our construction, we pay higher taxes and (most of us) never realize that we’re actually losing money on the deal.

You need to watch this QUICK YOU TUBE HIT from Heritage on the “costs” of “cheap” labor. Be forewarned, you’ll need PLENTY of gaffer’s tape for your head, first.

I don’t know about post-Katrina reconstruction in MS, but, in LA, a whole bus full of people got shipped down by a temp agency to do construction work. They had all been promised 40+ hours/week and $20/hour minimum. When they got there, the people that had done the deal with the temp agency told them “Sorry. We don’t need you anymore. The Mexicans are here.”

So, Trent Lot can take his BS “Here in Mississippi we’re enjoying the cheap labor” crap and shove it in his ear.
