From Sout al-Kuffar, the Jawa Report’s resident auteur. Not even Fred! has served up a cut of meat this red. Amazingly comprehensive, too. Did he leave anyone out?
Update: Whoops, my mistake. This was posted by SAK at the Jawa Report but it’s not an SAK original. Global Defense Group created it. Apologies for the error.

you can find your daily scare at Rasmussen today, they have John Fruitcake Edwards leading Romney and Thompson both by 20+ points, nationally and of likely voters. We can only hope that has to do more with lack of name ID and press that fred and mitt have nationally.

This has got to be one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while. I think people are starting to wake up and see the clear and present danger we face as a free World.
KCtheKat on May 23, 2007 at 10:24 AM
Spot on! But will it be United we stand? Or United we fall?
soulsirkus on May 23, 2007 at 10:26 AM
Holy crap.
Jaibones on May 23, 2007 at 10:27 AM
How long before this is pulled from YouTube?
CookeyD on May 23, 2007 at 10:33 AM
Clearly this guy is a racist bigot.

Farmer_Joe on May 23, 2007 at 10:37 AM
Well put, well done.
omegaram on May 23, 2007 at 10:39 AM
The video is 3:34 minutes long. Unfortunately, that exceeds the moonbat attention span by 3:31 minutes.
If we can edit this thing down, perhaps we can close a few minds? Then again, there’s as much chance of closing a liberal’s mind as there is Congress’s closing the borders.
windbag on May 23, 2007 at 10:45 AM
He pretty much got everybody in there. A couple he left out: John Edwards, Susan Saranwrap, Tim Robbins, ManBearPig. Other than that, a hearty “well done.”

I am outraged at this racist display of the good Muslim relition. I demand the author of this story resign now, and apologies be fowarded to CAIR. Now, if you can excuse me I have tickets to go see a display of Piss Christ.

I think I saw a few seconds of footage from “Swordfish” in there. 2:30 – 2:26
Great movie. ^^

He makes a very good point…
One of the problems of liberalism as it is practiced today is that they have taken moral and cultural relitivism to an extreme point… where nothing is superior… nothing is good…
My mind has been closed on a lot of things… and will remain so.

I will not submit!

WOW! What a great video!
mach1bugs on May 23, 2007 at 11:18 AM
This has been a two front war from the very beginning, even as the smoke was still clearing in New York and DC. One front against Jihad, the other against the Left, who in their hearts have never been ambiguous about who’s side they are really on.
If unprovoked mass murder by fundamentalist, fascist fanatics from the 7th century isn’t enough to make you take sides, nothing is. And I think we’ll defeat radical Islam before we defeat the Left, because we still can’t even see the Left for what it really is.
Halley on May 23, 2007 at 11:20 AM
An “open” mind is arbitrary garbage. “Open” to what? What you want is an objective mind, able to make a decision when you have enough relevant information. Good video — thanks.

HEAR, FRAKIN’, HEAR!!!!
Sending this one to everyone I can think of.
tickleddragon on May 23, 2007 at 11:26 AM
Facing a resolute enemy is bad enough. When so many on the left actually support that enemy we have an even worse problem. AQ was smart enough to know this would be the case. They fear Mubarak and Musharaf more than us. We made ourselves the softer target.
I disagree with liberals who see terrorism as a law enforcement issue. Problem is, our soldiers are acting as a police force in Iraq. This is a tough war to fight without killing innocent people. Dammed if you do. Dammed if you don’t.

Won’t convert anyone. It’s a sentiment I’ve written about, talked about and held openly since 9-11. The amount of pushback from the left only increases as the atrocities mount.
(rant to follow, feel free to skip)
I had a face to face with a nutter after I came back from Vegas, I stayed there an extra 5 days because the planes weren’t flying. They weren’t flying because of the horrible events on that September day.
So, there’s this idiot wanting names for his petition to resolve things peacefully. I called him out with a theme little different than what you see in the video, but the idea that the Taliban was reasonable had taken root. He didn’t understand. I was the only one to confront him, while people signed his petition.
Worked with a guy who was ahead of the curve for mainstream trutherism, posting crap from whatreallyhappened on the bulletin board. Not only was he not reprimanded, but the junk kept coming.
Online, I frequent a board that leans left ideologically (I’m the resident right winger) and I used to spend pages and pages explaining historical reasons for jihad, historcial examples of failure to act and historical examples of the damage pacificsm does during war. I would use current examples of media malfeasance, distortion and errors of omission.
The pushback was intense. I was, and still am, called every name in the book. These people believe that they do not have to pick sides. I have garnered some allies, and made some progress but a video? I appreciate the sentiment and it does a good job preaching to the choir, but it won’t make one single person vehemently opposed to basic western principles change their mind.
I realized something a couple of years ago. It was a tough thing to wrap my head around, but the notion had been there for some time. No matter what I think about the essential correctness of overthrowing totalitarian regeimes and the need for some kind of enlightenment redux in the Middle East, the current US administration doesn’t appear to agree.
If they do agree, they’ve done a spectacularly poor job in getting that message out. Why is some guy on the vast, anonymous internet putting out propaganda videos when that is, in my opinion, the job of the White House? Why am I, a Canadian and atheist to boot, carrying the water of the Bush Administration when it comes to explaining goals and the necessity of Iraq? (better yet, why the hell do I have to keep waiting for my visa, even though my dad is a US citizen?)
I can’t imagine any other president, save Carter, who would be so inept laying out the struggle of my generation. There is no Reagan, there is no Thatcher. There is only a group of like minded individuals, separated by time and space with no one to lead us. The man with the bully pulpit on all this opens the southern border and doesn’t veto a stupid passport law for Canadians.
This has been 6 years of watching the entire western world turn to ideological rubble in horrible slow motion.
On further reflection, I probably should have blogged this. Funny, how the writing bug hits you. What the heck, I might as well.

There was a comment about getting the moonbats to listen, but isn’t it better to encourage those who have that gut instinct that we must stand up, but have no reinforcement around them to articulate what they know deep inside? This sort of thing helps people who are being battered about, with focus and clarify, and reinforces them. Hasn’t the Left and the media been smacking that middle group hard with defeat, defeat, despair, trying to cow them into submission and surrender? The LEft dogpiles on with P.C. and speech codes and all sorts of guilt-inducing techniques to demoralise that huge mass of people who don’t have that solid vision, yet lean towards it? Why else spend time mocking people with words that said one way sound noble, but delivered with that Leftie sneer, such attributes as: “patriotic,” “convictions” “warrior mentality,” and so forth?
naliaka on May 23, 2007 at 12:27 PM
Is that Robert Spencer narrating? It sounds like him. The brutal, honest directness, and the comprehensiveness that you point out, would fit too, so I’m wondering just how much this is basically a Spencer show.
Either that or Spencer’s not involved at all, and there’s a guy out there who sounds and thinks and expresses himself a lot like Robert Spencer, in which case his ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to his newsletter.
Splunge on May 23, 2007 at 12:27 PM
Awesome.
I can’t express its awesomeness without swearing. It was just that (bleeping) awesome.
Krydor:
People will pick sides. Eventually. Guaranteed. And I still have faith (hard to believe) that even most on the left, when that day comes, will pick the right side.
What bothers me so much is that I know what it’s going to take, and I’ve repeated this incessantly. People WILL listen – but only after an attack or an atrocity that makes 9/11 seem like a picnic. When Los Angeles is a nuclear wasteland … people will listen to you. and to videos like this one.
Until then, it’s wasted air to even try. It’s a simple question of maturity. Those who have it, look at the real world as it is, and understand that choices must be made and action must be taken.
Those who are immature assume reality will never impact them. This difference in maturity is THE difference between liberals and conservatives.
When that tragic reality arrives, when it smacks liberals in the face – they’ll grow up. I promise. And start listening.
The problem is – what if it’s too late?
And of course there’s the unavoidable fact that angers me beyond words: since liberals will only listen to you after the worst happens … it can be argued that they are responsible for what will happen. When thousands (millions?) are dead … it will only have happened because of those who wouldn’t listen to voices like yours.
Liberal avoidance of reality may kill you. Or your family. Or me or mine. So maybe its not wasted air to keep trying to inject a little reality into the debate …
… but I don’t think they’ll listen until they have to. God help us.
Professor Blather on May 23, 2007 at 12:46 PM
Professor Blather,
It is already too late. The window of opportunity passed, in retrospect, with the absolute failure to name the enemy in clear terms on 9-12.
For heaven’s sake, man, the hard left marches with the enemy in spirit and in reality. You think they’ll wake up, I think they’ll die in their sleep.
Krydor on May 23, 2007 at 1:09 PM
I also thought it sounded like Spencer.
mikeyboss on May 23, 2007 at 1:21 PM

Now you’re talkin’! Send this video link to as many in the muddled middle as you know.
The Ritz on May 23, 2007 at 5:25 PM
Krydor, I’ve tangled with you before on other issues, but I’m right with you on this! The Left is not only lost, it is the conspirator in our inner room.
The Ritz on May 23, 2007 at 5:28 PM
Hey democrap Congress… it’s time to take a stand. You are either with us or against us.
Zorro on May 23, 2007 at 7:30 PM
WOW! I’d like to see one of our republican candidates speak like this all the time. Rudy gets close, but thats about it.
Well, now that this message is out there, ¿fred? can rehash it and regurgetate it for his groupies to gobble up like baby chicks feeding from their mother. ;-)
csdeven on May 23, 2007 at 9:26 PM
There is a small conselation in that poll. Mitt! and ¿fred? have gained ground while edwards has remained static.
csdeven on May 23, 2007 at 9:30 PM
Profound
Entelechy on May 24, 2007 at 12:17 AM
Great movie clip. Well narrated and hard hitting.
The Republicans would have held on to Congress if they had produced an ad this good.
It very subtly showed who REALLY has closed, evil, minds, and why they are on the side of evil. Harry Reid giving America the finger was a standout indictment of him, his party, and his party’s base.

I’m finally able to login and leave comments here, so I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their comments on my video, “An Open Mind”.
I’m very glad that this video seems to have struck a cord with Hot Air’s viewers, and I hope to make more videos of a similar nature in the future.
Unfortunately, I’m sorry to announce that I was forced to close the Global Defense Group website, due to funding issues and other considerations, but I hope to be creating a new online resource that will tackle many of the same issues and goals.
Until then, I hope you’ll spread this video around, and I hope it’s message will not be lost on my fellow Americans.
Take care, vote republican, support our troops…and thanks again!
