Is illegal immigration a national security issue? In this Vent that first aired last May, Michelle connects the dots from a day labor center to AA Flight 77 and September 11, 2001.

Amazing how quickly we forget. Amazing how our elected representatives will sell our lives if they think they can buy a few votes. Thanks for another link for me to send to my friends.

Michelle, you were “spot on” (as usual).
BTW, how is that the “doyenne of the conservative blogosphere” is permitted to criticize the BOOOSH administration for their “betrayal” of the people that voted for them? (Yes, that’s right — that statement was simply a little bit of sarcasm that I am providing free-of-charge for moonbat consumption. Too bad the leftests don’t really understand logic. If they did, they’d spend the REST of the day trying to reconcile their belief system with that statement.)

The Battle for America is going on in Farmers Branch, Texas. No thanks to a Judge appointed by Clinton! Consuelar ID’s are a joke! They are just an illusional security. People get them in Mexico with fake Documents. Accepting any ID from a corrupt place like Mexico is a joke. Banks are taking them to get the money. I run a Pawnshop in Texas. 3 or 4 years back we were given the green light by Texas to take Consuelars as acceptable ID. Sad thing is many of the Consuelar ID’s people present are fake Consuelars! You can go to “Bizarres” in South Dallas for like $150 and get somebody elses SS#. We did have a major fake texas DL ring busted about 2 years ago. They sold them right out of a Grocery store parking lot. Very good fakes. I saw one.

Arrgh! This makes me furious!!! It just makes everything we do seem pointless… if we cannot enforce our borders nothing else will matter. Yes we are a free country, however free is a relative term, there are laws, without our basic laws enforced we will decline as a nation, we will end up losing much more than our ‘freedom’.

Laws do not apply if ignoring the law results in votes for politicians.

A Great Vent when first aired, a Great Vent now.
The citizens and national interest of the United States are being betrayed by Republicans more interested in pandering to corporate and wealthy individual greed, and the Democrats in their pursuit of power. The nation, the citizens, are the one paying the price for this betrayal ane there still does not seem to be anything we can do about it.
No matter which rationale for the illegal alien, and increasing the workforce while decreasing wages, the cost of illegal alien is far to high. The only ones that gain are the Ferengi business owners, corporate interests, and wealthy individuals with their short term profits, and the illegal alien, at our expense.
The Left is looking for political advantage, with the help of the Ferengi in our midst, without regard to the interests of the nation or it’s citizens. They simply do not care about us, they care only about realizing political objectives.
Thank you Michelle for keeping this most important issue in the spotlight.

Summer reruns already?
I now realize that another reason I’m “gay for Reagan” is that, with Reagan at least, not every single challenge began with the assumption that we, the United States of F’ing America, “can’t” do the right thing; e.g., we can’t win in Iraq, we can’t deport illegals, we can’t build a fence, we can’t ____.

What makes illegal immigration a “stealth issue” is the fact that we are victimized in “isolated” incidents. 9/11 was (pardon the word), spectacular in that it represented an act of war we could see and understand. How many Americans have been victimized one at a time since 9/11? If all the criminal acts of illegals since had occurred at the same time, we would be at war with Mexico.

As for living in a free country, you might want to compare the freedoms of 1760 to 1790 to 1890, and then to 2007. The founding fathers would cry to see what has happen to their dream.
Franklin Hill on May 23, 2007 at 11:51 AM
Franklin Hill, I’m sure they would, it makes me want to cry in frustration and otherwise just thinking about it.

Try visiting MacArthur Park here in Los Angeles, you can get anything you want, guns, drugs, id’s, etc…
I used to walk through there all the time and get offered ID’s every 20 feet. This park used to be a proud park that represented LA, with its nice pond, fountains, sculptures, green grassy areas, trees and an outdoor ampitheater, now it is a smelly patch of dirt full of vagrants, drug dealers, hundreds of illegal immigrants playing soccer and fraudulent ID pushers.
All of this activity is right out in the open, yet the police drive by,drive by and drive by. They do nothing about it. Now you are risking your life just walking to get to the Metro station. And now the city council wants to designate that area “Little Central America”. My God it is so outrageous!
People! Americans! wake the *&^K up! your country, your cities are being turned into 3rd world countries.

It’s obvious these poor illegals that assisted the terrorists were simply doing jobs Americans don’t want to do….although and unfortunately I hesitate to say some Americans would never do. Realistically we all know some Americans that would sell us down the river for a buck too. The folks in Washington DC come to mind….
soulsirkus on May 23, 2007 at 1:34 PM
UM…I went to MILBLOG on a SATURDAY morning a few weeks ago. It was in ALEXANDRIA, on NORTH GLEBE ROAD. As I passed a “mom and Pop” grocery store, illegals were fifty deep waiting for work. LEGISLATOR’S AIDES live off Glebe Road>>>Washington D.C. is having its TOILETS CLEANED (lawns mowed, children nannied) by illegals.
AND DO YOU THINK THEY GIVE A DAMN?
The folks from the Hill’s CHILDREN all have trust funds, so “they” won’t have to deal with the rising tide of human debris.
IT IS OUR CHILDREN who will surely drown, as Bushie heads off into the sunset of his 1,587 acre ranch, KEPT SAFE FOR HIS LIFETIME, by taxpayers like YOU and ME, ladies and gentlemen.
Oh…and last I checked…BUSHIE had a REAL FENCE AROUND HIS PLACE.
BOTH of them.
THANKS BUSHIE.

Although I do agree with Michelle with this, you have to remember that the majority of hijackers came to the United States with through legal channels.
MarkyX on May 23, 2007 at 5:37 PM
MarkyX, sugar…it only takes the ONE.
At least that’s what they told us in SEX ED 101.
I think the analogy should hold with ANY semi-permeable membrane, let alone a POROUS one.
seejanemom on May 23, 2007 at 6:52 PM
Consistent.
Great Vent Michelle, funny how the truth endures.
Zorro on May 23, 2007 at 6:57 PM
No one in congress seems to remember where some of the hijackers got their ID’s. That information came out very soon after 911. I also think MM did a similar story about this same subject and corner before.
Keep reminding everyone about this and it should be a top issue in 08. Either if the bill is passed and amnesty is granted, cause it’ll happen all over again till there’s real teeth in the law.

You can’t ever play this re-run too much. Keep bringing up the best of the best reruns and help us connect the dots.
Really important stuff with the immigration debate so on the front burner and boiling over.
