ABC notes that the CIA and White House found out they were working on the story six days ago and said nothing, so if they blew some big secret here, the feds are being oddly quiet about it.

Any attempt by the CIA to take ABC to task for publishing a secret, boomerangs on them for being so incompetent that they let a secret leak out. That explains the silence.

InfoSec allows for criminal prosecution of anyone who publicizes information classified SECRET or above.

Security doctrine declares that ACCESS to information is determined by two factors. CLEARANCE and NEED TO KNOW. If your job puts you in the need to know category, but you don’t possess clearance at the level of the information involved, you don’t get access. If you are cleared for information of that level, but have no valid need to know, you get no access. The public has no right to know secret details of our foreign policy.

Whoever leaks a secret should go to jail. Whoever publishes a leaked secret should go to jail. It gets no more complex than that.

THANK GAWD I’M NOT THE LONE VOICE being shouted down by the chorus, “RUDY!RUDY!RUDY!”. I was beginning to think I was missing the KOOL-AID gene.

This may the first year I am disgusted enough to say I’ll stay home with you ALLAH.

I’ll even spring for the PBR (or ROLLING ROCK is it?) to drown our sorrows as the early call tallies roll in.

Since we’re giving Mitt free press here we should also enjoy a laugh at his expense.

This would be an enjoyable alternative to the “Fairness Doctrine.” Lets incessantly lampoon all politicians!!!!

No no no! You can’t do that.! I don’t care if Joda is our only candidate, he/it’s still better than the dhimmis!!

Here’s what I had to say. Any idea what, in ABC’s mind, renders this comment to offensive to avoid the censor’s axe?

My comments of last night were also censored.

To restate, if it were 1944, would ABC consider a leak of information regarding Operation Fortitude a viable news story, also? If not, by what criteria would that story be deemed too sensitive, while this one is not?

Regime change originating from within Iran is perhaps the greatest source of hope that war with Iran can be averted. As such, the undermining of efforts aimed at bringing about such change actually increases the likelihood of war, and the associated loss of human life. Which do we value more: Knowing merely for knowing’s sake, or peace?

I hope everyone here is able to come to grips with such shocking words.

But, darn it, can’t anyone come out and say the obvious truth, that the liberal media is intentionally aiding the enemy? Even if ABC started waving al-Qaeda flags on its broadcasts, I bet no Republican would have the guts to call it treason.

And miss the fun, AP? Non-participation is not an option. Alot of us made ourselves political “ho’s” by holding our nose and voting last year.

Looks like it may have to be that way again. If it’s McCain, I may have to shut my eyes too.
