U.S. troops receive “flood of new intelligence” on missing soldiers

Enough to launch five new search operations today. They might also have found a scrap of one of the missing soldiers’ uniforms.

If they’re still looking, it must mean yesterday’s rumor is false. Keep those fingers crossed.

Keep those fingers crossed.

A prayer or three wouldn’t hurt either.

I’m glad those rumors were bogus, lets hope we can find them alive.

I am going to sound heartless here, but when an entire nation is held breathless over 3 missing soldiers, we have already lost.

War is not about weapons, it is not even about soldiers. It is about will and when we treat soldiers like kidnapped children, it shows that we have already lost our will.

As individuals, I wish these soldiers well, but soldiers in an army can’t be thought of as individual hostages. All things worth fighting for will occur losses. You can’t have victory without sacrafice.

Our enemies are willing to sacrafice everything to defeat us and we stress, as a nation, over two kidnapped soldiers.

We have already lost the battle of wills.

It is not death, for everyone dies, but torture that haunts me.

Geneva Conventions… My Ass.

Pray hard that they will be found in one piece. Failing that, they didn’t die under torture. It is a slim chance IMO but, I continue to pray.

I hope they died before those savages got a hold of them. I mean…of course I hope the US Army finds them alive but that’s doubtful.

I know I wouldn’t be taken alive by those barbarians….

Finding them alive would answer my prayers …

I’d like to see our three soldiers pull a houdini-esque Jack Bauer escape and susequent severe a$$-kicking on some terrorists. But that’s the romantic in me. I pray for their safe return and if not, I pray for some major payback to some baddies.

I agree with you. Though I’d like to believe that we as Americans place a higher value on human life than people in the Middle East.

Pray that they died of injuries suffering from resisting during the initial fight.

Nothing good would come from surviving into the hands of these maniacal savages.
