Catchy segment title. I nominate Dennis for WH speechwriter. Has he ever debated Al Franken? I'd pay to see that. An all SNL mash-up. Better than the actual show.

Am I the only one who noticed that Dennis flipped off the liberals [appx. 43 seconds into the GooTube clip]?

The show is improving. Rabid liberal attacks to commence in 5, . . . Oh, wait! :oP

Kevin Kilner and Lamas were funny, but Lamas caved too quickly at the end to make it funny.

I think it is rather telling and sad how many have posted here that they think Lorenzo Lamas has killed his career by publicly ridiculing the truthers. Lorenzo has always been a ballsy say exactly what he thinks politically incorrect kind of guy, and I for one say bravo to him for it. As for hurting his career, only in the wildest dreams of the whacked out left.

I went back and checked, and that “salute” that Dennis gave them the Dems consisted only of the middle finger. Standard issue in NJ, maybe, but way to slip that one in, Dennis.

Agreed.

Dennis Miller is better when he's not trying to be funny. He's a strong communicator and speaker, but I never really got into his jokes.

"If there were no WMD's in Iraq, it was the best thing that ever happened to us." - good line.

For those who don't know, Dennis has a three hour daily radio show 10A-1P Eastern, which I think you can stream, w/o being a member, at The Dennis Miller Show. I stream him from 9-Mid Eastern on KRLA Los Angeles. Every show has at least a dose of this and related rants.

Wow - Dennis Miller was strong. I wish those comments were said on something other than a ‘comedy show’, because they weren’t comedy…

Timothy S. Carlson on May 20, 2007 at 10:29 PM

I agree, while it is a comedy show what Dennis said hit the bullseye and should be our administration and every Americans take on the war we currently face. What I agreed with the most was how we need to "shake the cobwebs loose" and stop worrying about being PC (after all war has never been PC, nor will it ever be) especially when our very survival is at stake.

Just like Dennis I'm still waiting for our government and politicians to stop tying our military's hands behind their backs and let them go after these murdering fanatics with all we have until they unconditionally surrender!

I agree, while it is a comedy show what Dennis said hit the bullseye and should be our administration and every Americans take on the war we currently face. What I agreed with the most was how we need to “shake the cobwebs loose” and stop worrying about being PC (after all war has never been PC, nor will it ever be) especially when our very survival is at stake.

Just like Dennis I’m still waiting for our government and politicians to stop tying our military’s hands behind their backs and let them go after these murdering fanatics with all we have until they unconditionally surrender!

I am glad to hear I am not the only one that caught the one finger salute to the Dems and their minions! I caught it the first time but rewound it to see if I was not imagining things. ROTFLMAO!!

I didn't watch the show, was it better than all the previous? These clips were MUCH better, but that's obviously not the entire show.

Lol, Lorenzo Lamas? Where did that come from? They must have a list of conservatives in Hollywood or something, because that was really random. Funny bit though. The only problem I had with it was that it will actually spur conspiracy theorists on with the fire/steel argument, because as I understand it (and I could be wrong, though it's rare that that happens) the steel wasn't melted, and it would have taken much higher temps to melt it... but it weakened the steel significantly to where it couldn't hold the floors above, as they came down, the added weight (especially with the velocity, making it that much heavier) caused pancaking all the way down. The Truthers will say "but the heat wasn't hot enough to melt steel", and because that seems to be true, they'll actually be emboldened by this.

The Dennis Miller segment was a HUGE improvement from last time. I still say he should be writing the show (and perhaps be one of the anchors), but that's a side issue. Instead of these weird one liners where he kept having to say "up next" like last week's episode, he got to go one one long rant, basically in the format he used to for a short time on H&C.

Miller made an interesting point about WMDs too... Although I still believe that Saddam had them and that they were moved (the world's intelligence agencies believed they were there, and there is a lot of evidence to suggest they were moved), Miller is right about the fact that we stood to lose THOUSANDS more troops if these weapons had been unleashed. Before Nonfactor and Bradky show up - The reason Saddam didn't use them against us is, as we KNOW, France and others were promising Saddam that we'd never actually wage an all out war on him, taking Baghdad, etc. Saddam thought something like Bush's father's war was about as bad as it would get, and he believed throughout that he would remain in power, because "our allies" were comforting him because of business deals they had going.
