Video: Jane Fleming’s Freudian slip — Republicans support terrorism

posted at 4:30 pm on May 16, 2007 by Ian

Dem strategist Jane Fleming “accidentally” said Republicans support terrorism and water boarding. It would make sense that she meant to say “torture,” but does she not also think the former too? Jane’s track record begs to differ.

Transcript:

SHEPARD SMITH, HOST OF “STUDIO B”: Hey, Jane was it your sense we got some separation on this war issue yesterday? On what will Democrats be pouncing from last night?

JANE FLEMING: [arrogant laughter] Well, what I think what we saw was more of the same. Republicans are actually supporting George Bush’s failed policies in Iraq which is not a smart move for them and supporting terrorism and

[background noise] SMITH: Jane! No one is supporting terrorism ..

FLEMING (continuing): — supporting water boarding and doubling up on Guantanamo was not a good move for them to be talking about. So maybe they didn’t get the memo from Secretary Gates, but Secretary Gates said —

SMITH: Wait, wait. I think you said supporting terrorism, is that what you meant to say?

FLEMING: No, I didn’t Shepard and so I apologize.

Eh, she was on there with her leftist pal Shep and she thought she could open up a bit.

Seriously though, she is obnoxiously dumb.

Jane, you ignorant… (okay, I’ll stop there. Don’t want to get banned.)

lan astaslem on May 16, 2007 at 4:39 PM

It’s just unfair. As the democrats get more and more ridiculous, it becomes almost impossible to parody them…

So now we’re getting video of when people misspeak? Slow news day?

Enrique on May 16, 2007 at 4:46 PM

i’m telling you. i had a vision of this woman’s apartment: cats, candles and cheap red wine. she has a broken couch hidden under a dozen cheap throw-overs. when her cat spews diarreah on the carpet, she blames you for upsetting it.

Classic Jane.

Were we expecting anything different?

Lawrence on May 16, 2007 at 4:54 PM

Her voice… and that jaw. That’s a G.I. Joe jaw if I ever saw one. If knowing is half the battle, she’s already in retreat.

Right about now, I want to let out a Howard Dean scream of frustration.

We are so far beyond the stage of “agreeing to disagree” with those in the Traitor Party (like Jane), that we have no common ground with them anymore. None.

I used to laugh at former Sen. Phil Gramm’s quip when he said “We’re going to keep on building the party until we’re hunting Democrats with dogs.”

But, unfortunately, this seems to be the ONLY way for this nation to survive the comming onslaught from the jihadists.

Former NYC Mayor Ed Koch wrote today:

Because the Democrats are forcing an end to the struggle in Iraq, we must now prepare to fight terrorism in our homeland for the next thirty or more years. This is a war of civilizations. The Islamic terrorists worldwide want to destroy the U.S. and every other Western nation, along with moderate Muslim nations, e.g., Egypt, Jordan, etc. Our very survival as a nation is involved.

[Ed Koch, "Democratic Terriers," 5/16/07, http://www.nysun.com/article/54564?page_no=1]

Instead of laughing at them, given the nature of the threat we all face and the willingness of the Democrats to aid and abet it, I’m reminded of something Sam Adams wrote: “…go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Vote Democrat, vote with Al Qaeda!

Um, yeah maybe she misspoke. Sure.

And maybe Waffles simply botched a joke.

In the words of the indomitable Ash from Army of Darkness:

“Yeah, and maybe I’m a Chinese jet pilot. …”

spmat, I almost spewed coffee on my keyboard. Thanks for that.

“We have a macho guy in the White House right now and that’s not working.”

So obviously we need a girly man…. or a manly girl….

What the White House needs, darlin, is balls.

On a side note…

With the way the Ismalmic world thinks about women…

Is there ANY way in the world they would take a Female President seriously? especialy one who is a known adulterer and stood by her adulterous husband? Crap, all we’d need is an allegation that she’s gay and we’d have a hat trick!

Demonstrably, no. Unfortunately many R’s have the same position (or lack thereof)

darwin on May 16, 2007 at 6:23 PM

Sure they do. It’s just that until recently they’ve been out of power long enough that people tend to forget what they’ll do if they can get enough power to push what they want onto the rest of us.

To wit:

They’re for higher taxes – much higher taxes – and bigger government. Much bigger government.

They’re for bringing America to heel under the auspices of its moral and cultural betters, i.e., the UN and the EU.

They’re for convenience abortions, up to and including the moment of birth. They’re for homosexual “marriage.”

They’re for “multiculturalism” indoctrination in schools, beginning at the elementary level and continuing through college. They’re for sex education in elementary school that “teaches” moral relativism through the acceptance and promotion of “alternative lifestyles.”

They’re for driving any trace of Christianity from the public sector.

They’re for keeping poor and minority students “in their place” by supporting the teachers’ unions in their efforts to maintain a monopoly on public education in failed inner city schools.

They’re for subjecting American military personnel to the International Criminal Court. They’re for subjecting the American way of life and our economic viability to the Kyoto Treaty.

They’re for gutting the military, and forcing it to accept homosexuals. They’re for putting women into combat roles, like Infantry. Some of them are for a military draft, because they think it’ll destroy military morale and make warfighting nearly impossible.

They’re for sending our military to Darfur and Kosovo, but not to Iraq or Afghanistan.

They’re for protectionist trade policies that will cost this country jobs, productivity and prosperity.

They’re for reverse-racism and quota-based admission poliices in college and public sector employment. They’re for “racial profiling” of Asians in college admissions, because they’re “over-represented.” They’re for “hate speech codes” in schools to silence conservative opinions.

They’re for taking away your Second Amendment Rights. And if you object too vocally to anything they’re doing, they’re for taking away your First Amendment Rights, too. They’re for resurrecting the “Fairness Doctrine” to drive conservative talk radio off the air.

They’re for amnesty for the millions of illegal aliens who are already here, and for opening up the border to allow millions more to come.

They’re for appointing judges who favor “judicial legislating” to achieve through the courts what they can’t get passed in the legislature or by popular vote.

They’re for socializing our health care system like Canada’s and Britain’s, where you practically have to wait 10 months to get prenatal care.

They’re for putting your school-age sons on Ritalin and other drugs for behavior that used to be called, “being a boy.” They’re for passing condoms out to your daughters in junior high and high school. They’re for sexist standards in college admissions, even though women now are the majority of college students. They’re for shutting down mens’ collegiate athletic programs under Title IX in the name of “fairness” and “balance.”

They’re for treating domestic criminals as “victims” of our selfish society, and for treating America’s enemies as “victims” of our arrogant, ignorant, and unfeeling culture. They’re for closing Guantanomo Bay, and for giving murderous foreign terrorists the same status as check bouncers or drunk drivers in our court system.

They’re for raising the white flag, sounding retreat, and running away like cowards in the face of the enemy in Iraq.

I could go on, but you get the idea. The donkey party is in favor of lots of things…

Jane gets fatter and uglier daily. Proving that age old adage… what goes around comes around.

It’s much easier running videos of Jane when she is wearing her McChesty blouse. I don’t hear a word she says.
