It is pretty obvious why the MSM refuses to cover stories like this one and others. If they can’t point it towards a political candidate like a loaded gun or brow beat the self-flagellation crowd into thinking they had it coming, than it is a non-story. The MSM refuses to report crimes unless they fit their narrow definition of racism, or for political expedience.

Basically the MSM has nothing to gain with this story except the truth, so they refuse to report it.

There is much truth to that.

I have a sister who is a card-carrying member of the self-flagellist white liberal crowd, especially when it comes to racial issues. Unlike so many libs, though, at least she walks her talk: to pay her white “debt” to black America, she’s consciously chosen to consort with black men who’ve verbally and physically abused her, raped her, stolen her money, lived off of her while she worked three jobs and they were just loafing around the house smoking pot and snorting coke, impregnated her on two occasions and fled on both of them when they learned about it, and generally taken advantage of her in every way that she’d let them get away with.

It’s been a hard row for her, but at least she can pat herself on the back and really believe it when she says that she’s not a racist. Well, not of the cracker variety, anyway. As to white liberal condescending racism, that’s another story.

Anyway, her most recent “dues-paying” activity was to move into a neighborhood that has been in the “black” part of Portland. Alas, the neighborhood has been “gentrifying” of late, with more and more white yuppies moving in, renovating and flipping the houses there, so it’s a mixed neighborhood now. My sister is thus subjected to the local blacks’ appreciation for the rising property values: racially motivated verbal abuse and obscene gestures from her neighobrs and total strangers alike.

It’s actually gotten to the point where she’s thinking about moving.

The point is, whenever I point out to her that her entire life is a classic case in point that blacks today can be just as hateful and racist toward whites as whites have ever been toward blacks, she still reflexively responds by excusing the blacks’ behavior. She thinks that until every last vestige of any kind of white racism in this country is eradicated, then we’re all collectively still as guilty as our great-great-great grandparents might’ve been, and that in turn means that blacks are “justified” in their sense of alienation, hostility, envy and resentment toward all whites.

The only thing we can do until she’s certain we white folk are all certifiably, 100% racism-free is to individually keep “paying our dues” like she does. Never mind that she doesn’t get a pass when it comes to the racist treatment she receives; it just means she hasn’t paid enough dues yet.

The sad thing is, I wish I could say that my sister is an isolated case of some kind of mental disorder, but I’m afraid she’s not. There are a lot of white liberals out there – including many in the media – who are in a state of deep, deep denial when it comes to what Larry Elder observed in his book, The Ten Things You Can’t Say in America – specifically, “Blacks are More Racist than Whites.”

This attitude, in no small part, is why the vicious torture, rape and murder of a white couple by five blacks is “not news” in the liberal media. Not only is it incongruent with the prevailing liberal condescending racism of “Blacks-As-Poor-Helpless-Perpetual-Victims-Of-Whitey,” but at some level there’s thinking going on that they probably deserved it. If not as individuals, then at least as representatives of collective White America.

Just paying dues for the rest of us, dontcha know.
