There is NO ONE on this Earth, that he admires more than his soldiers, and that they admire more than him. His sense of humor just makes him one of us.

And, in the end, at the end of the day, the end of his term, or the end of his life, that fact will be worth more than all the riches in this country. George W Bush is known as a Man among Men because he supports and believes in the US military, the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines who serve this country, and he knows that they can win any battle, campaign, and war as long as the American people have faith in them.

And isn’t it a pity that the only Man in public life left in America who has complete and utter faith in them is the current President of the United States? The only leader they will ever be accused by the Left of failing, is the only one who has true faith and allegiance to them. The US government political institutions embodied in Congress and most of the bureaucracies has abandoned them, lost faith in them, and actively works to undermine them and their mission. Is it any wonder they will follow W wherever he leads?

God bless you, George. You set a better example for us than anyone else in the US government. Press on, Sir.

There’s a reason why the symphony doesn’t look at the conductor much during performances (and why Bush’s terrible direction didn’t matter much). The director’s work happens in rehearsals. He controls the style and content of the performance, as well as the pacing, presentation and emotion of the individual pieces. Basically, like generals in war, their work is done in preparation and only the high-level aspects of execution are handled by them during the actual performance.

They’re controlling the beat…not just parroting it. They also provide cues and control the volume. Basically, everything the conductor does evokes emotion from a piece. It takes a leader to get 400 people to work together for a common goal and do it flawlessly in front of an audience…remember, Congress can’t do that much.

If you like your music in something other than midi format, it has to be a little more complicated than ‘press play.’

I was shocked at how tame some on the left’s reaction was to this, when the first thing that occurred to me upon reading about it was to make the “drinky-drinky” motion with my thumb and pinky.
