I’ve been told over and over again that we need to pull out of Iraq, because our presence is helping AQ recruitment, assisting them in getting resources and allies, and in short the U.S. staying in Iraq is exactly what AQ wants…

So how come they’re willing to work with the Democrats to force a pullout? Don’t they understand that they should be trying to get the troops to stay? Why does AQ work against their own best interests. It’s like they don’t understand the situation as well as out anti-war armchair QB’s here in the U.S. Can’t they see their own recruitment numbers?

Maybe that’s the way to get the media remotely perturbed at Al Qaeda — we can sell them on the idea that “Al Qaeda is swift-boating Iraq.” They really do seem to despise “swift-boating.”
