We didn’t invade Iraq because of 9/11, you moron. We invaded Afghanistan because of 9/11…the AQ training camps and Taliban support of AQ.

We invaded Iraq because of the support of AQ AND the 12 years of Saddam flouting the 17 UN Resolutions, the shooting of American planes…for the breaking of promises that he made when we LEFT him in power after Desert Storm.

Well gmc, you’re right, they want us all dead and they want to rule the free world under their strict Sharia law and bring back the Caliphate. Thiers is a fanatical ideology, much like Hitler’s and Imperialist Japan’s Shinto non-secular government prior to WWI, only more dangerous and ruthless in its devotion!

Again, I will give you a “pop-culture” reference since it seems to be the only way to get through to you and the touchy, feely, give appeasement a chance crowd:

The Islamic Jihadists are like the cyborg in the terminator; you cannot negotiate with it, you cannot reason with it, it feels no pity or remorse, and it absolutely will not stop until we are all dead, or we defeat them!

Personally I prefer we defeat them, once we defeat these ideoligical murdering hate-mongers (and by defeat I mean their unconditional surrender) then and only then should we “talk” with them. However, it took two hydrogen bombs to get Japan to surrender unconditionally at the close of WWII and they were a bit more sane than these fruitcakes, so I really don’t see them surrendering anytime soon, therefore their complete and utter defeat seems to be the only solution. Also, talk in the past has only allowed them more time to plot, plan, and kill us, that and it makes us look weak to them, and looking weak to a determined and brutal enemy is like slitting your wrists in shark infested waters…not a good idea.

One more thing, can you provide a link to some information where Bush admits there never was a connection to Saddam and AQ or terrorism in general? Saddam and his two lunatic sons needed to be dealt with anyway, regardless if Saddam was not involved in 9-11 or there were no WMD as many thought he had, including Clintoon, Kennedy, Edwards, et al.

To offer a suggestion that they’d debate the precise equipment required for a response is the most asinine and self-serving thing I’ve ever heard.
