Finkelstein and Chomsky are upset that fate tagged them with Jewish sounding names so they decided to use that as a credential to attack Jews. After all, they’re Jewish, that gives them ‘ultimate moral authority’ to deny Jew hatred, particularly on their part. It’s the same reason why the ISM uses tools like Adam Shapiro. The left only considers Jews authentically Jewish if they attack traditional Judaism and the politics of the Jewish community.

If you handed Finkelstein a Chumash (aka the Torah, the first 5 books of the Hebrew bible) he probably wouldn’t know which side was the front of the book. As far as the so-called ’sea of the Talmud’, he’d drown.

I’m getting a little bit annoyed and tired about leftist and ‘progressive’ Jews who are complete ignoramuses about Judaism yet they want to wave their severed foreskin as some kind of moral credibility.

Isn’t De Paul supposed to be a Catholic university? If you go to their website you’ll see sparse claims about their Catholic nature and heritage. You also cannot find out if there is a church or chapel on campus. They recommend that their students go see a lecture or some sporting event when they have some off time (wouldn’t want to go to Mass, Confession or Bible study; that would be too Catholic).

John Paul called the Catholic university from the heart of the Church. It was actually a criticism of what passes for a university today in the Western world. De Paul’s website is Exhibit A of what it means to be not Catholic and not a university. Unfortunately, Exhibit B is giving tenure to bozos like Finkelstein.

It is disheartning to see a people (American Jews) so willingly participate in their own extinction so soon after the Holocaust. As usual, we never learn from history, even when it is well documented. Everytime anyone ever says “never forget”, you can bet your ass they will, almost instantly. Read also The Road to Serfdom by F.A. Hayek. It’s about the totalitarianism of collectivism and in one chapters argues that the Nazis were the culmination of decades of German socialism.

I receommend for reading British historian Richard Overy’s “The Dictators.” It is an in depth study comparing Stalin’s Soviet Bolshevik Communism with Hitler’s Gernam National Socialism, and the conclusion is that they eerily had much in common — cult of personality leadership, command economies, primacy of the State, one party dictatorhip, utopian based ideologies (race based for National Socialism and class based for Bolshevik Communism), hostility to traditional religion, law warped to the needs of the state and official ideology, heroic art, use of concentration camps and terror.

The Left has been quietly realizing something about itself, ever since it staged the “Save Saddam” marches in 03 and the issue was no longer deniable: the ideologies of the Left and Nazism have a lot in common.

Sometimes you’ll see a Leftist tiptoe up to this with excuses and rationalizations (like the video clip here), but what I’ve been waiting for is the full-blown realization and “coming out” about Left/Nazi commonalities:

1. Hate America – check!
2. Blame the Jews (Israel) – check!
3. Collectivism – check!
4. The State uber alles – check!

It’s just a matter of time, but at some point a promiment Leftist will go public and claim that “Hitler wasn’t so bad after all”. Their automatic sympathy for Palestinian Jew-killers is fuel enough, but what I think is pushing them toward Third Reich-ism more than anything is their refusal to side with the USA in a war against the worst Jew-haters since Hitler. The ill-logic of this has been rotting their brains since 9/11.

It makes no difference that many of these Leftists are Jews themselves. We have every right to question their sense of religion as well as their patriotism. It’s no more of a mystery than Michael Moore or Rosie O’Donnell praising Islamofascists yet calling themselves “patriots”. Right…

That the Left finds its inner Nazi will be a good thing for the rest of us, since it will help dispel the rancid lie that nazism is somehow “far right”, and not a form of totalitarianism with far more in common with Marx.
