Fact MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. We are leaving Iraq because the Iraq people don’t want to stand up (2 month vacation of government?) and a civil war between Iraqi’s. Al qaeda is a small part and we can try to make so when we leave as the killing continues they kill al qaeda.

Bush ignored all his Generals to date, including the surge and the Iraq study group.

PS: God bless all the soldiers killed, wounded and in service today everywhere, they are all heroes, with special thoughts for the 5 soldiers killed today and 3 missing. I pray for them and their families. America needs to project strength world wide not bogged down in Iraq with a burn rate of 9-bil a month and 100’s of solders, ie diminishing returns. The writings on the wall, Iraq will not stand up, Good Bye.

Same ‘ol song and dance. Liberals pull stats out of their butt and they are remarkebly good at keeping the pertinent ones handy. How often you have heard the casualty figures from the Lancet “study”? The point is, it doesn’t matter if the figures are accurate, or the process used to arrive at the numbers, it is the same thing your 5th grade teacher probably used to get you to remember the mulitiplication tables, keep repeating it. When somebody tries to dispute the numbers they wind up appearing as scared, as if the numbers being quoted are true and only by attacking the manner of their collection can you attempt to debunk them. So while the person arguing how the data came to be has thier explanation fall on deaf ears the constant drumbeat of the same number heard over and over again becomes fact.
It has become the proven method for whipping up hysteria for climate change, health insurance, and the war.
Have you ever stopped to think why don’t the Dems concentrate of economic numbers? There are very few bad ones and they are some of the hardest to dispute.
