Hamas 1, human decency 0: “Resistance Mickey” show airs as scheduled

The score’s more lopsided than that, of course, but I try to keep these headlines tidy.
Agence France Presse has coined the perfect name for this beloved symbol of wonderment and genocide. Here’s a taste of today’s “resistance”:
The station’s manager, Hazem al-Sharawi, said the show has an educational message and will not be canceled…
On Friday, the lead character said he cheated in his exams because “the Jews destroyed my house,” and he lost his books under the rubble. Children called in telling him his behavior was un-Islamic.
Also during the show, the adult presenter and the station manager, al-Sharawi, told viewers that once Islam rules, its message of “good and peace” will also rule.
“We don’t incite. We present facts. We can’t cut off our children from the reality they live everyday,” said al-Sharawi. He said he repeated the words love and peace six times during the show.
Per my last post on this topic, Hazem al-Sharawi is better known as “Uncle Hazim” to the children he’s zombifying. Follow the link to LGF for a fuller transcript of today’s show in the update. Exit question one: If Hamas is a local “resistance” movement, unconcerned with and unattached to any broader jihadist movement, what’s up with the references to Baghdad and “al-Andalus”? Exit question two: How darkly ironic is this comment in context?
A more modern-minded member of the Palestinian parliament said the protesters wanted to take Palestinians “back to the dark ages.”

I am shocked, shocked to learn that Hamas lied about cancelling its Mickey Maus horror show.
I was also shocked, shocked when Saudi Arabia declared it would clean up the hate in its textbooks, but didn’t.
I was shocked, shocked when the Islamic high school here in the DC suburbs was caught teaching hate to its students, but denied it.
But you know, the more hate I hear from Muslims, the clearer picture I get of Islam and its intentions.

If ‘resistance’ means defensive jihad, or the defense of Muslim lands, then Baghdad (Iraq), al-Andalus (Spain) and Israel are all connected by virtue of the fact that they are Muslim lands currently occupied by infidels.

I think he should have said “forward” to the dark ages.

I say we wage our own cartoon jihad against Hamas and the rest of the Islamists. They have taken our Mickey, an American icon, and distorted his image around the world.

I second that Rick…I say more Cartoon Mohammads!!

Let’s have a cartoon of Mohammed, hanging out with Uncle Sam and learning about the Constitution. That would piss them off!

Porky Pig is a must for any Islam cartoons.

“back to the dark ages.”
They left?
Qutb, the father of modern jihad, main belief was that the 7th century was the zenith of civilization. They love the dark ages.

The Mouse’s legal team is notoriously aggressive about protecting their brand. Although there is obviously little they can do in practical (maybe even political) terms, it would be interesting to hear if they have an official stance (Couldn’t find anything at Disney or ABCNews).

I understand that Disney is trying to put together a United Nations resolution. So far they have received support from Looney Tunes, Simpsons, South Park, Warner Bros, Popeye, and Roger Rabbit. China and Russia are holding out.

There is only one cartoon hero capable of waging a jihad against Hamas & Co.
Roger Ramjet!!

Discussing it all over a nice porkchop dinner. Soonafter, the prophet is shown going down to the local topless bar, where he spends his wad on lap dances from bambi and elektra.

The reality is that these kids are going to be mighty f___ed up in a very short time.
So when you say the words “love and peace” what, that makes everything ok and wonderful???

That is quite a sick sense of humor and twisted morality if I ever saw it.
It’s disgusting.
4shoes on May 11, 2007 at 11:05 PM
He must have meant the darker ages.
Modern science and social progress has almost exclusively been propelled by Jews and Christians. Islam and progress are mutually exclusive. Like Jesus said, you know a tree by it’s fruit.
