Pedestrian, that there is some truly retarded thinking...for all the reasons mentioned above.

Try trucking your butt south of the border and see if you can demand the same from the Mexican gov. Or try north to Canada.

Seems we're the only country on the planet that is not allowed to secure and police our border. Everyone else treats invaders like invaders. And YES, illegals are INVADERS.

Pedestrian,

What everyone else said above. You're wrong. You comment as if living in the U.S. is the God-given right of every human being. It isn't. No other developed country on Earth allows people in, and to be treated as well or better than citizens, if they don't come in through legal channels. But for some reason everyone thinks we're evil if we attempt to apply the same rules that are applied to us by the rest of the world.

Good for the gal in the 2nd clip to kick that woman's ass. That crap is a terrible horrible suppression of women. A few people posting in this thread are just too dumb with their thoughts on this subject. Maybe you should be repressed, pedestrian and buck turd.

OK pedestrian...chew on this.

This is from an INS/FBI joint research report for the 1st quarter of 2006:

2006 (First Quarter) INS/FBI Statistical Report on Undocumented Immigrants

CRIME STATISTICS 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.

86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.

75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.

24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally

40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally

48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally

29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our state and federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually

53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.

50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens from south of the border.

71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or “transport coyotes".

47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 47%, 92% are illegal aliens.

63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 63%, 97% are illegal aliens

66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66% 98% are illegal aliens.

BIRTH STATISTICS 380,000 plus “anchor babies” were born in the U.S. in 2005 to illegal alien parents, making 380,000 babies automatically U.S.citizens.

97.2% of all costs incurred from those births were paid by the American taxpayers.

66% plus of all births in California are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.<blockquote>

How DARE you compare murderers, drug smugglers and thieves to oppressed women and the unborn.

Yes. Every man, woman and child on this planet has certain God-given rights. BUT NOT AMERICAN-GIVEN ONES.

If you were not born here AND under US jurisdiction (that's right, anchor-babies are NOT US citizens!) then you have no right to be here. So there's a limited number of immigrants we take in each year...well, tough sh*t. Have you ever fathomed, in that black hole between your ears, that there might be a REASON for that??? When the US experienced mass immigration in the 1930s and 40s, there was mass poverty, disease, unemployment and homelessness because there weren't enough jobs to go around. As it is, the illegals that jump our borders leech off our public resources like tapeworms -- economic systems that can barely sustain our citizens as is. These same people are largely the reason why their own countries suck...why should they simply be allowed to ruin ours, too?

You need to understand this: just because someone works hard is no excuse for breaking a law that was instituted specifically to protect our national security, public safety, and sovereignty. A law requiring burqas does none of these...it merely serves to subjugate.

You know how every libtard like yourself talks about how illegals "do the jobs Americans won't do"? Well, you know who used to do those jobs? TEENAGERS. That's right...your average high schooler used to wash dishes, clean houses, babysit, pick fruits & vegetables, fix cars, mow grass, deliver papers, etc. up until the "free love" period hit. Illegals don't do the jobs Americans won't do...they do the jobs American parents are to pussified to tell their kids to go out and do.

Do you have any idea how stupid you sound when you compare border-jumpers with Muslim women? No illegal alien was ever stoned or whipped for being in a room with a man who was not a relative. No illegal alien has been forced to wear a long black robe in the middle of a burning desert. No illegal alien has ever been beheaded simply for falling in love with someone of the wrong religion. The worst your average illegal has to worry about is the inconvenience of our catch-and-release program, which means he'll have to use that stolen social security number to open up a cell phone account <em>tomorrow</em> instead of <em>today</em>.

You need to take a look outside at the <strong>real world</strong>, a world where there is a battle ensuing for the right for civilization to exist on this planet. A fight that takes place outside the confines of your college campus. Grow up.</blockquote>

The video of the chick fight is from last year. I remember seeing it before.

The chick in sackcloth reminds me of the Lebanon woman who had all her estates bombed one hour after another.

<blockquote>P.S. The knocks on the doors and asking who their muslim friends were and where they lived happened around 1990. They were also told to get off their work visa and become full citizens so they could vote for Clinton. (All seriousness)</blockquote>

I am not surprised. I would love to hear what they (the muslims) now think of that lady's man, Komrade Klinton.

The dress code nazis sound like some local democrat condo board members here in south florida. You can’t get in the elevator in a bathing suit, you can’t back your car in your spot, your flowers are the wrong color, your door knocker is offesive, take down that American flag in your window, your door mat is illegal, etc., etc. No wonder liberals never say a peep about this kind of harrassment. They embrace it on a daily basis.

roninacreage on May 10, 2007 at 9:20 AM</blockquote>

I TOTALLY AGREE with the sentiment>>> unless you BOUGHT INTO that...or (sadly, more like)didn't have enough fellow Libertarians like yourself to keep it from getting passed as a regulation AFTER the fact (I hate when that happens!) >>>MOVE. And quickly>>and preferably into a like minded condo community where you are in the majority.

But the principle is the same here...we lived here FIRST and I will be damned if <em>THIS</em> chick is wearing a burka...EVER.

I will go down shooting in my Sunday best THONG, but you can FORGET it, MOH...

<blockquote>People who wish to come to this country have a legal means to do so through our Homeland Security department. It is long, and it is difficult, as anything worth having is. However, there is a legal means for someone to move from their country to ours and to legally enjoy the fruits that their hard work in this nation provides them.</blockquote>

Each year there is a day where they start accepting applications for green cards for the coming year. Every year the quota is exceeded by far on the very first day. To say that there is a legal way is to ignore the fact that if you don't hit the lottery it's not going to happen. If I was not fortunate enough to be born here or to hit that lottery I can't say I wouldn't succumb to the temptation to move here illegally for the sake of my children's future. My reaction to being accosted for breaking that law wouldn't be so different from the wonderfully courageous woman in the second video.

I'm just struck by the inconsistency of being full bore for the rights of the unborn without also recognizing the that people born in another country do not have any fewer rights in the eyes of God. There are certainly legitimate concerns among terrorist and other criminals immigrating, but the overall sense I get about the immigration debate is that it is more about job preferences for people who are fortunate enough to have a vote, which is what I am comparing to the subjugation of muslim women. Solving the problem of criminals immigrating is better solved by making it less likely for people to want to immigrate illegally so that the ones who should be stopped become more visible. People who would object to that would object on the grounds of job preferences, which as I said is against equal treatment of all people.

However, there is a legal means for someone to move from their country to ours and to legally enjoy the fruits that their hard work in this nation provides them.

Each year there is a day where they start accepting applications for green cards for the coming year. Every year the quota is exceeded by far on the very first day. To say that there is a legal way is to ignore the fact that if you don’t hit the lottery it’s not going to happen. If I was not fortunate enough to be born here or to hit that lottery I can’t say I wouldn’t succumb to the temptation to move here illegally for the sake of my children’s future. My reaction to being accosted for breaking that law wouldn’t be so different from the wonderfully courageous woman in the second video.

I’m just struck by the inconsistency of being full bore for the rights of the unborn without also recognizing the that people born in another country do not have any fewer rights in the eyes of God.

Is it me, or were you cheering when that woman put the <em>SMACK DOWN</em><strong> on that crazy sewer rat??

I watched it TWELVE TIMES. TWELVE.

And I laughed harder and cheered louder every time.

<blockquote>I’m going to step out of line here and compare accosting someone for those clothes to many people here insisting that police in this country should arrest illegal immigrants, simply based on whether someone was born north or south of the Rio Grande, regardless of how hard they might have been working for the past, say, 40 years, and regardless of whether they have been scrupulous in paying their taxes. Sure they are violating the law, but so are the women not wearing the clothes they are supposed to. Those women value something more important than obeying that law, as do the parents of impoverished children do when they come here without a visa to feed themselves and their children.

There are no words to fully encompass and augment how horribly, horribly wrong your statement is.

People who wish to come to this country have a legal means to do so through our Homeland Security department. It is long, and it is difficult, as anything worth having is. However, there is a legal means for someone to move from their country to ours and to legally enjoy the fruits that their hard work in this nation provides them.

However, under Iran's bass-ackward sharia douchebaggery, women are not allowed any legal means to dress the way they desire. They are trapped by barbaric customs designed by imbeciles to prevent any possible hint of equality of gender in order to foster their own artificial superiority.

If a man applies for a work visa, comes to this country, learns the predominant language, pays his taxes, swears an oath of allegiance, he is an American. It matters not what he does for a living or where he originally came from...if he follows the law, he is equal to you, me, all other citizens of our country and is afforded the same rights and privileges that that citizenship provides. A woman in Iran WILL NEVER be equal to a man in that same country, even if she was born there.

So, pedestrian, I hope you can now fathom the monumental idiocy that your statement presents.

Pedestrian, I would describe your statements as 'moral equivalence on turbo'.

There are just so many things wrong with your statements, that I really don't know where to begin. Secondly, I'm sure there is absolutely no point in arguing with people like yourself. So I'm not going to bother other than to say "move to Iran".

Yeah, because not covering your head properly is a crime about as comparable to sneaking into another country illegally, obtaining fake identification, stealing somebody else's social security number, and not paying your taxes to boot. <em>Sheesh.</em>

<blockquote>simply based on whether someone was born north or south of the Rio Grande, regardless of how hard they might have been working for the past, say, 40 years, and regardless of whether they have been scrupulous in paying their taxes. </blockquote>

And regardless of whether they been sending their children to our schools at taxpayer expense, leeching off government programs, engaging in frivolous lawsuits for tripping and falling (an illegal immigrant favorite, right there), driving while intoxicated, driving uninsured, having gangbanger kids, <em>ad infinitum.</em> Here is a hint: the crime isn't what side of the Rio Grande they were born on. It is what they did to get to the other side and what they've done since to stay on that side and what they may have done to others while staying on that side.

"Accept the social norms of this country."

Gee, if Americans even thought of asking foreigners, and illegals for that matter, to accept American society and assimilate, the multiculturalist police would be on us just like these muslim bullies.

This country is no different, it is being suppressed by the Left, no wonder they get along so well. The Left opresses the same way these people do, except the Left is stupid enough to think their "genious" can reason with these people.

I really, really hope we've got covert operations going that are sneaking porn into muslim countries. It doesn't have to be extreme filthy porn, just some pictures of topless (preferably middle-eastern-looking) women. We have to give these people a sense that seeing women uncovered is natural and desirable. We have to make them see efforts to cover the women up as being repressive.

I'm reading a great book right now (<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Lipstick-Jihad-Growing-Iranian-American/dp/1586483781/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-5814235-2428062?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1178832779&sr=8-1" rel="nofollow">"Lipstick Jihad"</a>) and a passage from it had me had me guffawing rudely in the Dr.'s waiting room yesterday:
<blockquote>...The clerics' hatred for miniature poodles, which they considered bourgeois lapdogs, was one of the ridiculous things about Iran. An aghast ayatollah in the provincial city of Orumieh had even devoted a portion of his Friday sermon to condemning canines. :Happy are those who becamse martyrs and did not witness the playing with dogs!" he had bellowed, refering to those killed in the war with Iraq, who had luckily been spared the lapdog trend.

...Iraninans felt a harsh contempt for the clerics, who had taken over an oil-rich country in the name of Islam, sunk its economy, and now spent their days railing against poodles...</blockquote>

I can't think of anything a government could do to thoroughly piss its women off more than have fashion nazis roaming the streets lecturing them that they look like Western whores or actually arresting them for showing their hair. Those are gonna be some scalded cat mad women who will just absolutely never forget. Never, never, never.

And didja notice how when one woman got pulled over one or two other women stepped up to her side as backup?

Heck, those Iranian mullahs are working overtime to foment a revolution against themselves. The only thing left for us to do to push this to the tipping point is ship the Persian women the latest fashion magazines and some guns.
