Missed it! The episode I remember is from Lance Lot Link, Secret Chimp… with Lancelot fighting the head of C.H.U.M.P. for the weather machine lever, making the weather go back & forth between blizzard and beautiful sunshine…

What gets me about this isn’t that Obama might’ve goofed a figure here or there, but the fact that 10,000 casualties is darn near impossible for any natural disaster on U.S. soil, let alone a tornado in Kansas… by orders of magnitude. It just wouldn’t even occur to most people to blurt it out in error, because it’s just so preposterous.

That’s what alarms me about his gaffe. It’s vaguely reminiscent of metal imbalance, like Zhirinovsky’s 1992 rant about “Millions of Americans visiting Russia… and millions of Russians visiting America” when asked if tourism might pick up in the new Russia.

There, people paid up to $10,000 to meet the senator for cocktails.

That’s a Freudian slip if I ever saw one, he was thinking about the $10,000, the money! Not the people!
