Meet the McGees. One’s a suspended talk show host. The other is his son, a Milwaukee alderman. Both traffic in hate on the airwaves.

Just kidding! It was a botched joke.

And greetings to all my brothers and sisters in the white community. secret white handshake

saint kansas on May 9, 2007 at 9:48 AM

Yeah MM! Keep on this hate mongers butt.

Wade on May 9, 2007 at 9:54 AM

When an alderman says that the solution to speeding in your own neighborhood is bricking them, it’s time for a new alderman.

Isn’t it illegal to suggest, especially seriously suggest, undertaking an illegal activity? Isn’t it even more illegal to hold a position of power and to suggest it? Bricking can lead to a different kind of undertaking; it’s not child’s play. I know someone who got bricked once; luckily for him, it rebounded right against the headrest… of the passenger seat, where nobody was. Just imagine had it been the other seat! Good grief.

Welcome to Milwaukee, where race mongers are revered and logic has no real meaning.

This is just the latest in a huge list of stupid and evil things that these morons have said and done. In fact, this is kind of tame for them.

Sinner on May 9, 2007 at 10:23 AM

It’s my understanding that these hate-mongers “broker” their airtime. In other words, they pay their own money for time on this station. Pathetic enough, that you can’t get someone to hire you to broadcast your filth…but more pathetic that this station would air this crap all in the name of the mighty dollar.

Well, that answers my question how these uninspiring, unentertaining hateful tools manage to get a radio show. How would you justify paying a salary for this? Michelle, Bryan, I just want to say thank you for going above and beyond the call by tuning in and listening to this crap. More selective media blindness; ironically enough it comes the same week that a sacramento morning tv show is trying to bag Rush Limbaugh for his ‘Barrack the Magic Negro’ parody song. Last I heard, they had posted some horrible video along with it and tried to attribute it to Rush. Pathetic is a great word for all this.

austinnelly on May 9, 2007 at 10:43 AM

Thanks for putting in the subtitles guys, if it weren’t for those I would have NO idea what papa McGee was saying.

I mean, honestly, shouldn’t a prerequisite of speaking on the radio be an ability to speak clearly and enunciate? Is he drunk? Does he have food in his mouth? What gives?

The sad thing isn’t that these two hate mongers are on the air waves, but that they continue to be on the air because people LISTEN to them!

Sure we can get rid of these two racist hate mongers but what about all the locals listening and nodding their heads in agreement to these verbal ejaculations?

mojowire on May 9, 2007 at 11:13 AM

Uh….Great T-shirt Michelle!! Where can I get one just like it? Yeah. That’s right. I want to give the hate-mongers YET ANOTHER REASON to hate me.

CyberCipher on May 9, 2007 at 11:37 AM

At least he didn’t call the dead woman a ‘nappy-headed ho’.

The Monster on May 9, 2007 at 11:44 AM

What Hate or Racism, this is par for the course in New Orleans.

abinitioadinfinitum on May 9, 2007 at 12:28 PM

I wasn’t aware, until Michelle showed his picture, that “Charlie Sykes” was the great Charles Sykes whose excellent books I’ve enjoyed over the years, particularly, Dumbing Down Our Kids. Condolences, Mr. Sykes. I’m certain your mother was a good woman in light of the son she raised.

Nice shirt!

If “the power” comes back, it’s going to backfire this time.

Connie on May 9, 2007 at 12:46 PM

There seems to be some sort of cognitive disconnect at that station.

Check out the website…the first thing they are promoting on the Home Page is…GOSPEL MUSIC!!! I’m finding it hard to get my head around that one…

Wish I could answer your question, mojowire, especially since it is my neck of the woods.

A more-wide-ranging, if incomplete (because the McGee/Jacksons have done so much outrageous crap over the years) list of what the two pulled can be found over at Badger Blogger, who’s been all over these two. Indeed, Patrick was the source of the opening audio from the Commander.

A couple of examples of the McGee/Jackson outrage that has been excused by the community:

- Junior McGee/Jackson, whose real name his real name is Michael Jackson Jr, somehow obtained two Social Security cards and two licenses. That little tidbit came out during the suit by his ex-girlfriend, and was part of the not-quite-successful recall effort against him earlier this year (the organizers did gather enough signatures, but Junior took the election with about 65% of the vote).

- Back in the early 1990s, Senior McGee, back when he was alderman in the district his son now occupies, called for the sniping of white commuters on one of the major freeways in Milwaukee (nobody carried it out) and for blocking that freeway with burning tires (he actually tried that one).

steveegg on May 9, 2007 at 12:51 PM

“Brick ‘em like gorillas”.

That’s a racist comment if I’ve ever heard one.

mattshu on May 9, 2007 at 12:54 PM

HotAir T-shirts.
Google it.

Some of you may or may not be amused by this.

CyberCipher on May 9, 2007 at 1:47 PM

Michelle, thank you for getting on this guy and not letting go. You are a really cute little pit bull. Bless your heart for all the work you do keeping us informed. I visit your Hot Air site every day.

UnEasyRider on May 9, 2007 at 2:54 PM

CyberCipher, it’s even a link on this sight. :P

MirCat on May 9, 2007 at 2:57 PM

So of course, blacks can’t be racist right? What a nice bunch of racists they had on. They’re racists just as much as the KKK is. Holding my breath for Sharpton and Jackson the race baiters to say something about this.

Catie96706 on May 9, 2007 at 3:00 PM

Lived there, done that, have the t-shirt, seen the movie… McGee is the local poster child for the criminally insane…

Can you say Burning Tires???

The McGee’s have always accomplished more harm then good. How bad things are is demonstrated by their ongoing positions of responsibility in the community. Just who votes these guys in or hires them? And why?

Pretty ugly answers,

GoingThere on May 9, 2007 at 3:29 PM

Thanks for the link to refresh my memory. I thought the Commander was still in office when he pulled that stunt.

steveegg on May 9, 2007 at 3:41 PM

MirCat on May 9, 2007 at 2:57 PM

Duuuhhh! I suspected as much, but I was too d*mn lazy to go look for it. Ya’ gotta’ make things harder for me than that, or I completely loose interest.

Thanks MirCat.

CyberCipher on May 9, 2007 at 3:59 PM

Michelle, i agree with you on this one, but i hope you will be consistent. Michael Savage Says thing as bad as what these guys have been saying. His Hate-Mongering is beyond the pale…And no, i do not get my quotes from the Idiots are Media Matters, i actually listen to this guy from time to time. All these Hate Mongers including the Mcghees, and Savage should be off the radio

mainmann on May 9, 2007 at 4:38 PM

Change the words African-American for jihadists and you have the terrorists and what kind of people they are, and that includes the “reverend” at Obama’s church.

P.S. Monster, I think McGee said “stringy haired ho”…I think. This is the black underground very few Americans, both African and White American are willing to acknowledge. Sharpton and Jackson have been playing to this audience for decades ala Arafat!! Farrakan is the head.

Both should be fired but you know they won’t be. The callers are just as hateful and ignorant as the McGees.

sharinlite on May 9, 2007 at 4:44 PM

Racism alive and well in Milwaukee. Shame.

Kini on May 9, 2007 at 5:16 PM

Great Vent Michelle!

“Racism” in the United States, abetted by the MSM, is a one way street. One utterance by anyone who is white and that person is persecuted unmercifully. Black Racism is not only accepted but condoned, and without one word of rebuke from the MSM.

Double standards take on new meaning in the United States with regard to racisim.

omegaram on May 9, 2007 at 5:49 PM

The reason there is no MSM outcry over this or any other outrageous actions perpetrated by blacks in this country can only be attributed to the very worst form of racism, their (MSM, and founded and encouraged by the leftist politicos) belief that blacks are incapable of acting with any degree normalcy in a modern civilized society. By not attributing to blacks the ability to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the cultural norms of society, they can not be “disappointed” by any of their actions ( ie; they have no expectation of behavior different than what they see, so said behavior is the best the group in question can do, and you don’t fault those who “do their best”), and expected or anticipated behavior is not news worthy. For example, when Braves pitcher John Rocker makes a few rather unsavory “off the record” comments to a reporter in his hotel room, why thats front page news, requires a suspension and counseling, ad nauseum, but when Mike Tyson, on a televised weigh in prior to a fight, goes totally postal, threatening white reporters with homosexual rape, and other despicable racist assertions, its not even worthy of comment.
well, at least the dhimmicrats are getting less racist, they believe NO ONE in America is capable of making rational decisions about their lives, what they eat, smoke ( unless it will get you high),how they spend their money etc etc, and that they are the only ones wise enough to make such important decisions, for ALL of us.

Is it racist to expect better from a people who can and most times do much better, or is it racist to just assume thats as good as that group can be, so don’t fault or critic the actions?

Democrats are exempt from hate of any kind. These 2 are just another example.

roninacreage on May 9, 2007 at 6:18 PM

Thanks MM for pointing this out to me. Living in the Northeast, I knew nothing about it. I’m in agreement with you, especially on your point that if their racial backgrounds were flipped, we’d be hearing all about it, and Al and Jesse would be crawling out of the woodwork.

asc85 on May 9, 2007 at 6:47 PM

“Where are the ‘civility police’ now?”

They’re squirming and looking up at the ceiling, hoping that nobody else beside Michelle is going to call them out on their double-standard.

Is there racism in America? You betcha. But what so many of the race-hustlers who turned Dr. King’s “Not by the color of their skin but the content of their character” dream inside out don’t want to admit is that all we’ve done is:

1. For (liberal) whites, substitute the old, southern cracker-style racism for the new, urban condescending racism; and

2. For blacks, create a whole new class of hate-filled racists who instead of taking responsibility for what’s wrong in their lives will go to any lengths to blame “whitey” and “The Man” for it all.

And what’s so pitifully ironic about it all is that the same people who think they’re “helping” blacks by holding them to a separate and lower standard of speech and behavior are in fact doing more than anyone else outside the black community to keep them alienated, angry, self-pitying, hopeless and poor.

Spurius Ligustinus on May 9, 2007 at 7:53 PM

These black racist bigots are just as much a cancer in our society as slavery was.

infidel4life on May 9, 2007 at 8:19 PM

Another hard-hitting Vent, Michelle. Thank you.

I guess Milwaukee (like Boulder, CO) is another text book example of what happens to a community when sickening old hippie burn-outs decide to go to work. That poor old man is toasted.

Zorro on May 9, 2007 at 9:31 PM

Like father, like son.

Michelle looks great in that HotAir T-shirt!

Is the call-in audience out of Kindergarten yet? They sure didn’t sound like they are.

Entelechy on May 10, 2007 at 1:10 AM

Heh. I work in McGee’s aldermanic district, a couple of blocks up the road from WNOV. I’ve been staying in for lunch and getting a security guard to walk me to my car (which is in a lot staffed with another guard…in the daylight).

When an alderman says that the solution to speeding in your own neighborhood is bricking them, it’s time for a new alderman.

There was a recall election, but he got enough votes to remain. Translation: The people in his neighborhood approve.

It’s my understanding that these hate-mongers “broker” their airtime. In other words, they pay their own money for time on this station.

Not exactly. They have an “anti-poverty” organization with non-profit status that receives taxpayer money. How spewing racism over the radio helps anyone out of poverty no one has explained to my satisfaction.

And what’s so pitifully ironic about it all is that the same people who think they’re “helping” blacks by holding them to a separate and lower standard of speech and behavior are in fact doing more than anyone else outside the black community to keep them alienated, angry, self-pitying, hopeless and poor.

Yup. But they FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES, so it’s all good. *snort*
