Come visit the Pacific Northwest. Lots of courses like that one. I believe those scenes were filmed in British Columbia, near Vancouver.

Exactly. Don’t get me wrong. I wasn’t trying to “condemn” AllahPundit for the Rosie Posts. I was simply making an observation (that I thought was amusing).

Besides, most of the liberals buy into Carl Sagan’s “tit-for-tat” eye-for-an-eye model of morality. Seems to me that with their Bush derangement syndrome, they’d have a hard time criticizing any of us regarding our “fixations” on Rosie.

But what do I know? As clearly evident from my many posts, I know NOTHING about blogging, journalism, or politics (thank God). And yes AllahPundit, you can quote me on that.

I participate here at HotAir because:
1) I am trying to learn something about politics,
2) I love the “internets” (I’m a techno-geek),
3) I’m single and have too much time on my hands,
4) I like telling really lame jokes to people that can’t retaliate (well, at least not with any kind of physical attack on my person, anyways).

So sue me.

Rosie, and anyone else who spreads Truther filth, deserves our disdain–fully and completely. This should be across-the-aisle kind of stuff, but instead we get even more comparisons to 1984. Why not throw in some Nazi/Hitler references while you’re at it?

I know, but the analogy doesn’t work. Rosie’s views and those of the political left is what’s prevailing these days. They’re the ones that just took over congress, so they’re the one’s with the power, not Hot Air. They’re the ones whipping up hate, so my analogy seems more appropriate.

That analogy doesn’t make sense. Rosie has a national platform to espouse her views, she’s not prohibited in any way. And The View reaches a lot more people than Hot Air, so a more apt 1984 analogy would be that Hot Air is The Brotherhood rebelling against The Party (Rosie).

As I already posted in an adjacent thread, the Rosie posts remind of the “group hate” sessions described in George Orwell’s book 1984. It’s sorta’ like everyone needs a “team practice session” to keep our essential skills honed. The most essential team skill of all seems to be hating Rosie.

I’ll let you decide for yourself whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

Apparently, neither can Bob. Sources say he “is adamant that Rosie not get the gig.”

Bob thinks that price is definitely wrong, bitch.
