Hopefully Don Cheedle (hope that's right) wakes up to this and stops wanting the UN to do something about the Sudan

In fact I believe it was either Human Rights Watch or Amnesty who were claiming that Chinese/Russian aircraft have been spotted in the Sudan

2 members of the 'security council', hooray

One thing to be careful of.

Historicaly military Engineer units, in some armies, were considered elite units.

They had special training in demolition, and assaulting fortified positions, as well as things like minelaying, or disposal... many during the cold war had special training in dealing with biologic and chemical warfare weapons.

Not knowing the training of this specific unit... its hard to tell if its a bunch of bad asses... or a bunch or bulldozer drivers.

And so it begins.

The sleeping dragon with its massive resources and huge military stirs. A portent of the future as the dragon clamors for more & more of the economic and political pies in this world?

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

While the left continues to accuse the US of Imperialist occupations, Red China sends military engineers to Darfur, Sudan, to start the reaping of raw materials China desires to continue its Imperialistic climb up the ladder of totalitarianism.

There will be no outrage from the useful idiots.
