How does a 100+ comment section help you? I only see how this subject divides people who otherwise think very similarly.

It makes for a more interesting blog. The comments are terminally boring when I post only stuff on which everyone agrees. This is one of the few subjects where we can have genuine principled disagreement.

I fully agree with you on this one Allah. Nothing like a good old debate amongst friends to take our minds off the often depressing reality, because frankly, I personally often get badnews overload and appreciate the chance to get away from that.

Newdow looks pretty much worthless unless you’re looking to score some good weed. And no, I’ve never done the stuff.

Look, would someone who respects religion even notice that the colonel quoted the bible much less use it as a reason to dismiss him? I’m not at all religious but obviously Allah is much smarter than I am, you see I have no idea if there is some higher being or not. Therefore I respect almost all religions and those who don’t believe.
