This was my favorite quote

Mr. Preston: One of the big accusations that's leveled at her all the time is that she's a puppet for somebody, and I got to tell you, anybody that tries to make a puppet out of her is going to have a stump for an arm. It's not going to work.

That's a good one Bryan...

Has the Hot Air Cartoon dude yelling at the camcorder gotten a little grey in his hair? Or has it always been like that? I know he has always had three teeth and Popeye arms and a lightning tongue.

Allah, I can't tell for sure whether there's a tiny bit of genuine moping in all the playfulness, but you know we appreciate you, right? Your stuff shows a startling level of talent and wit that is equaled only by the very best in the blogosphere. I agree with Valiant, your compulsively readable and subtly written contributions make HotAir an addictive thing rather than simply a great video blog. There's also a balance thing, with others providing the straight-ahead conservatism, and you providing the self-questioning side, almost as though you're constantly expecting the opposition to start making sense, and sadly shaking your head when it doesn't seem to happen. Keep up the good work.

My favorite line:
I’m very fortunate to have the team I work with and Bryan, in particular…

That's funny, normally we are not on the same page, but that was my favorite line also.

Mrs. Malkin: Yeah, I do, it's called "Vent" -- I'm on there, at HotAir.com. The videoblog has been such a great adventure. We just celebrated our one-year anniversary, and there are things we do there that we couldn't possibly do on cable news, let alone ...

Mr. Eldridge: Like your cheerleading routine.

Mrs. Malkin: Yeah, exactly.

Does he know of the white flagging cheerleading routine because of research or is he a regular visitor? Of all the vents to cite as examples, this was his first recollection?

It was a great article. I did notice Michelle's site no longer has her picture and figured it was partly due to security.

It was several months back but the Windsor Star (Ontario, Canada) carried a story on bloggers and mentioned Michelle on the front page which was funny since they're pretty far to the left.

Thank you all for your work!

This was an interesting interview that often read like a panel discussion. Too bad the Washington Times doesn't have a video component to their website where we could watch the unedited video.

It is interesting to hear some of the behind the scenes chatter. It almost sounds as though Michelle has to be oh so careful in her words and attention or her children will think she is playing favorites ……

As a male, I can announce we sometimes have fragile egos...and they need to be attended to from time-time. Such is life. ;)

Terrific interview though, especially re: Bush's open boarder policy. Yeah, MM sure is soldier for BushCo!

I really appreciate what all of you do here. Hotair is the only news site I check every day.

I hope the site continues to grow as word spreads about it.

Without yet having read the WT interview, I already get more of a charge out of the excellent work you folks do at HotAir than any other site I've read on the web - and I've read a few. HotAir is as probably about as good as it gets, and that's pretty good!

The little bits and pieces of behind the scenes info that come through add reality to the Hot Air crew and are interesting to fans such as myself. More Please!

I don’t know, dude. He outclasses me, although admittedly that’s no trick. I suspect he was a babe tractor beam in his single days.

Bryan, in his bachelor days, always had a girlfriend when he wanted one. He had and has high standards and morales that he proudly wore on his sleeve. That limited his Chick pool though. I know he broke a few hearts a long the way. At least that's the way I saw him. I remember that time ,waaay back, in first grade or kindergarten this girl was chasing him on the playground and he ran smack into a tree.

Married men exude a confidence women love. No knock on Bryan of course, he's an impressive chap, but you are a pretty witty b*ast'rd yourself, which ladies also love. And that is all the commentary ever from me in regard to attractive qualities of the men of this site.

Its a good interview, and offers a good picture of what Michelle and crew do. Much fairer than the Kurtz article.

Nah. I'm guessing Bry's a late-bloomer. Cool now, but a total geek in his youth.

If you were casting a movie about Bryan Preston's high school days, he would definitely be played by Jon Cryer or Michael Anthony Hall. In his mind, maybe he was Charlie Sheen or Chad Lowe, but only in his mind.
