I still think the best way to start to solve the problems in Iraq is to privatize the oil companies and give shares to each person equally, Kurd, Sunni, Shiite and Christian.

How did this guy get on TV? I have heard grade school teachers make better cases for leftism than Colmes.

The Newt made a good point today on one of the Sunday shows. He said that the war against Islamofascism is global. Getting out of Iraq won’t get us closer to winning that global war. The Dhemocrats can’t redeploy off the planet. He’s great to listen to.

It’s a good point you make. Tenet is doing his legacy tour, and one of the highlights is his assertion that Al Qaeda cells are here in the U.S., ready and waiting for orders to attack.

I would have assumed that Colmes would be open to Tenet’s criticism of the Bush administration. Did he somehow miss that memo, or does he disagree?

Here’s the thing, this administration never said or demanded the Iraqi government create a democracy in our image. Thankfully, they did not. For if they had, they would be throwing in the towel about now – proclaiming the war was lost.

In their country, their democracy, brave citizens step forward each day willing to give their lives for their new found freedom. And when 20 or 30 are blown-up by secular insurgents or Al Qaeda, 30 or 40 more step up to the plate. That takes courage, steadfast committment and an unwaivering will to win. I find that admirable. Keeping a democracy afloat takes sacrifice.
