Tell that to the people he spoke to on Friday night. They introduced him with music from a TV show he apparently has a role in.

I am simply not impressed with the groupie mentality that fawns all over him because they are smitten by his folksy charm and unchallenged rhetoric. Let him announce that he will announce and put himself up to the criticizm that the real candidates have exposed themselves to and I’ll start to take him, and his groupies, seriously.

Please stop teasing us. Please make your campaign announcement.

I read that – if the Left wins, it’s always democracy, if the conservatives win, it’s dictatorship (see Mexico, see here…)

Here’s toasting to Mr. Sarkozy. I could never stomach Mr. Chirac, and he was the so-called conservative. Hoping for a real leader for France, which is one of the most beautiful countries. They deserve to be greater.

Did you hear the line Royal used about fighting in the streets if Nicky won?

We need a Zawahiri thread too. He and the dems are on the same side of the defeat the USA issue.

However, he did address the “executive experience” – he said that Mr. Carter had it. We know the rest.

My advice to Mr. Thompson w/b to go it alone, to not join the pack, to ignore the media, to not debate in every itsy-bitsy gathering ot the great, and the small. Those are just a waste of time and entertainment for the masses and aggrandizement for so-called-media, like Mr. Matthews.

He should campaign like he did for the Senate seat – talking to the people, on all sides.

My most pressing issues:

- War on Terror and Security
- Part of it too, the Border control
- Keep the Government in check and as much out of my life as possible
- Economy
- Social Security
- Some civility

I like what Mr. Thompson says, and always has said about these. I love his indolent strength, a contradiction of terms, but that is what he is, and in time we’ll get to understand this, since he can reach the masses, in his simple way. He is simple but not a simpleton. People love down-to-earth, non-elitist snobs, who assure and represent them.

I don’t care what the rest of the world thinks of us. The other issues are good for debates afterward.

Anyway, I harbor no anymosity toward you whatsoever. I’m happy we’re all free to believe and to support whomever we please. Regards,

That Breitbart lovefest was an indication of what? That freddie boy has a extensive repertoire of folksy colloquialisms? Sorry to break it to you, but that kind of rhetoric is gonna get old reaaaallll fast. Especially when he has to face people who aren’t slobbering all over themselves to accomodate his self agrandizements. He avoided the announcement issue, as well as the executive experience question. There were no tough follow ups to challenge his superficial orations. The “interviewer” (more likely his campaign manager) tossed up softball questions that he whacked out of the park. When asked about experience, he talked about TALKING about issues as if talking about issues makes them happen. fred is limiting his exposure to media types that are very friendly.

Lets see if I can put it in a term that fred will understand.

Just pointing out the hyprocrisy of the left. Skerry pointed out that Bush should not be POTUS because he never served in Viet Nam, yet it was fine to elect a president who was a draft dodger.

If fred is going to announce in June, why doesn’t he just say so now? McCain did. Does it have something to do with his contract with whatever TV show he is on?
