Exit question: Why doesn’t the MSM go after real racists with the same zeal they use to go after fake racists?

Journalists have become lazy – that simple I think. If conservative leaning journalists attacked this issue using data from the Southern Poverty Law Center it might compel the “MSM” to be more responsible, if for nothing else the competition. http://www.splcenter.org/index.jsp

They kind of count on the right getting angry about stuff like this and in turn that brings out the irresponsible commentaries from those who are a very small segment of the right. In other words they know it generates anger and attracts readers.

Ethical? No. But the normal reactions are not effective so a different counter strategy might be in order.
