Disturbing video: Undersea Robo-Akons Bump, Grind

posted at 11:45 pm on May 4, 2007 by see-dubya

Earlier today in this post some commenters said they liked the background music of the game I linked–a Mooged-up tune called Popcorn, originally by “Hot Butter”. I kinda did too, and I linked the 1969 original version of it playing over an old LSD-trippy film. Which YouTube pulled down by dinnertime Pacific.

Hey, we get results.

Never mind that, then: Here’s a dance version of Popcorn, which a few of you may like, along with something every red-blooded Hot Air reader does: lewd, pelvis-thrusting robots.

Love it! Tanks.

Popcorn’s a long fav tune. Good frog too.

Dude, that’s that stupid annoying frog thing!

God that thing was annoying, everytime I saw the commercial for the frog things ringtone, I wanted to throw the remote through the TV. I’m glad I listened to the original, it was better anyway.

The ocean, already a dark and cruel place where the big ones eat the little ones….. and now this ..

Maxx on May 5, 2007 at 12:21 AM

@ Bad Candy

Yep…it’s Crazy Frog and I remember those commercials…

Needless to say, my cell phone is “frog-free”…

This video is kinda cool tho!

JetBoy on May 5, 2007 at 12:30 AM

Ha ha! That was too kewl!

Cocoi frogs! McSkevvy dancing robots!

Made my pizza and beer night. I’ll go to bed now….

So Akon is, like, a humping terminator robot from the future? Hmmm. Maybe instead of a jail sentence, the judge should’ve sentenced Paris Hilton to 45 nights with Akon.
(Can’t…control…these…aberrent…thoughts.)

CyberCipher on May 5, 2007 at 1:08 AM

I think this is a metaphor which implies that Akon’s antics and clothed sexual actions are due to the fact that he is trying to make up for, yet not exposing, his little frog willie.

Does this count as tonight’s anything geos thread? Becuase I just found the most amazing thread on Digg ever. The diggbats are going insanely mad over Giuliani’s “ferret moment” on radio.

If you are still on the fence as to just how maniacly left wing digg users are, you need only read the comments to this story(which we are all familiar with: Giuliani takes a crazy caller about ferrets and dismisses him and tells him he needs help).

We’re all going to hell in a handbasket.

Cute and liked the tune. Far cry from the sexual assault, lyrics, poor taste, degenerate culture, and vulagarity of Akon.

omegaram on May 5, 2007 at 2:02 AM

Leave it up to some (c)rap “artist” to take a perfectly decent tune and turn it into garbage.
I mean really. How much talent does it take to take a tune, put some synth drum beats to it and voice over “uh, uh, uh, come one, yeah, das it, uh, uh” ad nauseum.
Sorry to be the party pooper, but (c)rap was this way 20 years ago, and it hasn’t changed much.

Of course, if you’re the beret-wearing art film type who’s seeking more mature robot sex, there’s the classic All Is Full of Love video by Chris Cunningham. (Oh, and Bjork.)

I will always respect Crazy Frog for keeping Coldplay from debuting at No. 1 in the U.K. Mr. Gwyneth Platrow just could not topple the mighty Crazy Frog.

Where was Nemo?

iNeXuS on May 5, 2007 at 6:28 AM

What a waste of CG.

Coronagold on May 5, 2007 at 6:36 AM

Am I evil for wanting the robots to capture and terminate that annoying-ass frog?

fusionaddict on May 5, 2007 at 9:39 AM

Oh no not Crazy Frog!

Seixon on May 5, 2007 at 10:35 AM

Thank You See-Dubya and Mr. Crazy Frog for your in depth expose. These underwater perverts must be stopped at all costs. They are immbedded in our culture and have a very detrimental effect of the young minds of our society. The first thing we need to do is eliminate their yellow submarines.

sonnyspats1 on May 5, 2007 at 11:08 AM

on the humpin’ robot scale; that was about a 2 out of 10. mild hip thrusting, but certainly not enough to satiate a desire to see more.

lorien1973 on May 5, 2007 at 11:09 AM

Don’t tell them what Afternoon Delight is about.

Bill C on May 5, 2007 at 11:34 AM

I found it funny.

amerpundit on May 5, 2007 at 12:28 PM

Oh, and here’s the Christmas edition.

amerpundit on May 5, 2007 at 12:32 PM

Granted, it’s not funny.

Vincenzo on May 5, 2007 at 1:52 AM

That nutroot.

Who cares, the commentator complains he swept the homeless people off the streets.

Can anyone here honestly say that is a bad thing?

Besides, who cares about Ferrets? I can’t smoke a cigar at a restaurant or bar in AZ anymore, even though I once could. I bet this caller wouldn’t complain at that. He’d just shrug that “violation” off.

Tim Burton on May 5, 2007 at 12:51 PM

My 4-yr-old is a compulsive dancer. She heard “Popcorn” from the other room and LOVED it. We had to go buy it on iTunes so she could listen to it over and over and dance. Thanks, See-Dub–you cost me a buck and my sanity!

Just kidding. ;-) I like the tune, and the daughter dancing to it is adorable.

Anybody ever noticed Crazy Frog has a …uh… am I allowed to say penis? I’ve seen it in commercials on TV before and they had to remove it, I believe. Now it’s back? Check it out.

mboprey on May 5, 2007 at 5:48 PM

Umm, I think it’s the stubby tail that frogs have.

amerpundit on May 5, 2007 at 6:26 PM

This is of course why I made the comment I did previously. And umm amerpundit, tails usually don’t come with a bag of . . nm I won’t say it.

P.S. Malkins?
