The stench of urine on the book and in the nightstand drawer will make for some lousy reading if I find one in my room. Or we can use the pages to wipe with and save toilet paper. And put the pages back for the next guest. Just recycling.

Spot on Ron! I’ll go you one better. I smoke in the smoke free rooms. But I can. I use the nicotine footprint offset program. I steal the soaps and shampoos from the room, and give them to homeless people to offset my smoking pollution. I just love this offset program thing…

I don’t have a problem with a green hotel or spa, thats cool . I would never go to one because I won’t support Gore’s theories , besides a stinky waterless urinal belongs in a seedy gas station rest room. EEWWWW!! The Muslims from Minnisota are pushing for changes at airport restrooms only they want bidets and foot wash equiptment installed. These issues could drive a wedge in the democratic party.

The “green” hotels have now placed single stacked sheets of toilet paper and have asked guests to please only use one square per bathroom visit.

I never noticed, but on the cover of the book is that supposed to be a hurricane coming out of a smokestack? Gore himself admits that the connection between hurricanes and carbon emission is tenuous, so the imagery is a bit hyperbolic.

This is all about the rich maintaining distance from us regular people. Once the Gorebot started talking about carbon offsets, I knew that this was a complete scam. So the hotel will charge you more so that they can buy carbon offsets and convince themselves that they are nobility.

Actually, its a C-Note per night, which is not that bad for something 15 minutes outside of Napa. A lot of people complain about the inconvenient location of the hotel. too far away to help for wine tasting, no nearby restaurants, no nearby attractions-

But they have a swan in their pond and their koi fish are carbon friendly.

I’m into the green movement.
I booked two rooms for myself and an out of state client. He stayed on the upper floor in an extended king and had no complaints. I stayed in a basic king on the lower floor and was rudely woken up at 6am the next morning from the guest (contractor/worker) that was staying in the room next door. I even wear ear plugs. The walls are not properly insulated for sound. You can hear the telephone ring in the room next door.
