Video: Rosie goes on diatribe against War on Terror, Bush, Troops; sympathizes with terrorists

No 9/11 conspiracies today, but Rosie’s diatribe against our nation, the war, and the troops was just as bad. Rosie said “we [have] killed way more Americans than terrorists have,” comparing 9/11 to the current American death toll in Iraq. You can only guess what she meant by “we have killed.” Such intelligent comments from someone who thought “Mission Accomplished” referred to the whole war on terror.
Continuing, Rosie said terms such as “terror” and “cell” are shock words used to scare people. Wow, I guess if it wasn’t for the invention of those words, we wouldn’t be scared of terrorists people who want to convert and kill us.
Rosie used the stereotypical liberal line: we went into Iraq for the oil and then called Bush a “oil baron,” adding the Bush’s are “oil people.”
There was some conspiracy talk today, though. Rosie said the government made up information to get us into this war and suggested they will do the same to get us to invade Iran. However, big mouth Rosie ignored conservative Elisabeth, who was awesome today, when she brought up Iranians funneling weapons into Iraq.
Towards the end of the segment Rosie portrayed the “vast majority” of our military as a bunch of poor idiots and felons who are only in the military to get an education. Again, she ignored Elisabeth when she informed Big Ro that test scores of members of our military have been higher than ever.
Arguably the best part of this clip is when Rosie sympathizes with terrorists. She says Americans have been programmed into robotic zombies to hate terrorists. After all, terrorists are “mothers” and fathers” too!
Rotund Oracle: Terrorists are “mothers and fathers” but our troops are stupid. That tells us all we really need to know about Big RO.

Oil?
Geez, what a bloody idiot!
Where IS this oil?
drjohn on May 1, 2007 at 1:24 PM
1). 19 ignored UN resolutions.
2). UN Oil for food program proved fraudulant and corrupt and dangerous.
3). Saddam paying families of suicide bombers with money siphoned out of the oil for food program to blow themselves up in the gaza strip.
4). Every major world intelligence agency concluded Saddam had weapons and was a threat to world security.
5). EVERY prominent democrat claimed Saddam was a threat to national security.
6). Saddam refused to show evidence of the distruction of his weapons programs.
7). Saddam murdered 182,000 of his own people with chemical weapons. Its estimated that 2-6 million Iraqi people have been murdered by Saddam’s regime since he had been in power.
8). US fighter jets guarding the no-fly zone over Iraq between the Kurdish North and the violent South have been consistently attacked and shot at since the cease fire marking the end of the first Iraq war.
9). Several attempts by Iraq to increase “imports” from Niger. Niger has two major exports… siphilus and uranium.
10). The Wahaabi population was unexplainably wealthy and protected in Iraq during the Saddam dictatorship often owning several homes regardless of the fact that there were no jobs or economic opportunity of any kind.
11). When Ayman Zawahiri was shot in the leg he was flown into Bagdad for treatment and cared for by one of Saddam’s personal doctors.
12). Mass graves.
13). Rape rooms.
14). Islamo facism.
15). Iraq has oil.
For some reason #’s 1-14 are dismissed and ignored by people who point to oil as being the primary reason for our invasion. Why do they sift through these facts and settle on oil as the main reason? The answer is clear. It is the one fact that makes the US look like the bad guy and the immoral super power acting on behalf of her own greed and gluttony. The people who choose oil out of this list are people who have a predetermination that the United States is the big, immoral world bully. They purposely ignore the facts to fit their world view. They have an immediate knee jerk reaction to view the United States as the bad guy. They are liberal democrats who feel guilty about their place in the world and it makes them feel more noble to point their finger at their own country and call it the bad guy. These are the same people who driven by their own guilt believe that it should be the government’s responsibility to redistribute wealth as it sees fit. They are the same people who believe we are helping the black community by providing them with government entitlements. They are the same people who believe that the word “fair” is somewhere written in the Constitution. They are the same people who believe each person (not necessarily US citizens) are entitled to “free” healhcare. They are the same people who believe the government is not spending enough money on education, welfare and other social taxpayer funded programs. They are the same people that believe we are not giving enough money to corrupt African dictators to cure their populations of AIDS. They are the same people who point at Abu Graib prison photos and yell for impeachment. They are the same people who are more concerned about collateral damage and civilian casualties in Iraq then they are about the safety of American soldiers. They are the same poeple who have an inability to admit that the religion of Islam has any connection to terrorism what so ever. They are the same people who are more concerned about whether or not other countries around the world like us then they are about taking the necessary action that fits our best interest. They are the same people who are more concerned about who might be offended by something rather then what is right and what is wrong.

Dear Liz,
Many of us regular non-celebrity types with boring office jobs wish we had the money in the bank to do what we love to do. An office job can be enjoyable, but an office job would be the most awesome job to go to every day if you knew that no matter what you did or said to that idiot boss at work, you weren’t concerned about the idiot boss’ actions because you knew that idiot cannot ruin you financially.
Liz, you don’t need this job, so you have no reason not to smackdown your idiot boss.
If you won’t do it for yourself, then please do it for all of us middle class working stiffs that will likely never get the chance to do it ourselves.

Rosie’s got nothing to worry about. She can impugn the USA any time she wants. Reason?
If fire can’t melt steel, then there’s no way Omar’s Tent Shop can manufacture a burqa strong enough to shore up her bulk. They are going to need some material with a much higher tensile strength than Egyptian cotton, folks.
There is no way Rosie can be force-converted if America falls. She’s like a nation unto herself. (Or at least a large island nation.)
Also, consider that it would be haram to cut her head off. Spilling that much pork lard? Please! I can’t even calculate how long it would take to clean up a spill of that magnitude. If they killed her in Kansas, the vitriol would contaminate the whole country!
Does anyone know if bacon grease has a half-life?
/It’s too easy to make fun of her for being stupid. I prefer good, old-fashioned name calling. Tit-for-tat. She slams my Commander in Chief plenty.

Seriously
At this point why do we even bother reporting what this fat ass moonbat says anymore? What’s the purpose? We know that everytime she opens her fat mouth she says something more moronic then the last time she opened her fat mouth. At what point does it cease being shocking and just become boring and annoying?
Defector01 on May 1, 2007 at 1:51 PM
I watched to the bitter end. She definitely did denigrate the intelligence of the troops (and so did whoever is sitting next to her, I have no idea who that is). The “terrorists are people too” line, which she has used before makes me ill. I really dislike her so much. She is not intelligent and if not for the fact that she is a celebrity, she would be sitting home on the couch with her “wife” yelling at the TV. She disgusts me.
Glynn on May 1, 2007 at 1:51 PM
“…our military as a bunch of poor idiots and felons who are only in the military to get an education.”
I’ll have to one day ask Tehran Rosie about the nature of education and how to properly obtain one. Is it possible, Rosie, for a fellow with a small toned bum to pull an education out, or does it take Rosie-type growth of them bum before one can simply pull the product of an education out.
On a serious note, I don’t comprehend why some feel that entering the military in order to pursue a good career is so wrong. I’m familiar with the line about how “mercenary” that is, but if protecting people for the good of your career is wrong, then what are we to do with those mercenary doctors that do paid work to pay off the debts they ran to get through medical school? They must be equally contemptable, if not more. After all, their sacrifices aren’t as extreme as the fighting professional, and arguably, the absence of a doctor can be more dire than that of a soldier (a non-professional can fight to protect a home, but can’t perform heart surgery).
The quasi-Marxoid critique of the mercenary needs to be challenged more regularly. Perhaps if an essay appeared on all right-of-center websites addressing the nature of the professional soldier, this reactionary mindset could finally die.

I will be so glad when the O’Donnell troll fades into a forgotten past.
You are looking at a clip of why the Left is the biggest single weakness of the United States. Ignorant, stupid, misguided, naive, and domineering by nature. The O’Donnell troll adds ugly (inside and out), beligerant, stupid (that one merits mentioning twice), repulsive, and regpugnant.
The only product that was on the list of sponsors for the O’Donnell troll via the View that I was using regularly was Cottonelle. I have made a deliberate switch from that product for the sole reason of protest against sponsors of our biggest weakness and sliming my monitor with the O’Donnell Troll. It is unfortunate, we liked that product and do not see going back to it. Once these type of buying habits are acquired they are often difficult to change.

OK, Rosie, riddle me this.
Since the invasion, 3,351 Americans have died in Iraq.
The combined total for homicides in the state of California for 2003, 2004 and 2005 is 7,299.

Good lord. I don’t think there are words to adequately express what a truly ignorant lunatic she is. It’s absurd that ABC lets her spout this crap on their network.
CP on May 1, 2007 at 2:27 PM
Wow, Roro’s even more unhinged than usual. This has got to be the result of ABC canceling her contract. I just have to think that, at some point, she thought to herself, “I can say whatever I want now! What are they gonna do, FIRE ME?”
Except most of those words would be misspelled, even in her inner monologue.

Iblis on May 1, 2007 at 2:30 PM
This “Bush is in it for the oil” thing really needs some serious debunking. It’s the left’s next big conspiracy thing after the 9/11 conspiracy. It took years for 9/11 to get seriously debunked and that did a lot of damage on the way.
Now even here in France I hear “Bush invaded Iraq for the oil”. The french seem to have woken up to the fact that the 9/11 conspiracy is a load of bollocks so now I hear the oil mantra being sung by all the local libs. I hear it from french people, I hear it from visiting americans (invariably democrats lol).
It’s the coffee shop wisdom of the year and it needs debunking just like 9/11 was debunked.

Gee, I wonder what the Marine who’s in one of my classes and the Army soldier who is currently preparing to become an officer and who also finished third in the Soldier of the Year competition would have to say about that?
BTW, when I announced to class that the soldier was entered in the competition, the entire class cheered him on and wished him good luck–and this is in a STATE university! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise–we’ve got a GREAT younger generation coming up–and most of them are not buying the BS that’s being fed them. They’re choosing to wear the uniform because it’s the right thing to do and they’re doing us proud.

So no. Nobody is saying 600,000+ except truther Rosie.

From the Weekly Standard:
THE LAST WORD
The Islamization of Europe proceeds apace. In his forthcoming book, God’s Continent: Christianity, Islam, and Europe’s Religious Crisis, Philip Jenkins argues that matters on the Continent are not so grave as some might have it; that Europe has seen worse sorts of cultural conflict; and in any case, there is probably no clash of civilizations going on that won’t work itself out peaceably in a few generations.
Jenkins is powerfully smart and an excellent historian, so his argument deserves a full and fair hearing when the book arrives later this spring. But in advance of that, there seems to be an almost daily arrival of anecdotes suggesting that Jenkins may be overly optimistic. The latest comes from Amsterdam, where Muslims have reacted very badly to the teaching of a unit on rural living because . . . the lesson talked about pigs:
A school in Amsterdam has halted lessons on rural life because the Islamic children refused to talk about pigs. Reporting this, Alderman Lodewijk Asscher said he wants to take “tough measures.” Subsidies for all kinds of dubious groups must stop and parents of unruly children penalised financially.
Asscher told newspaper De Volkskrant: “A primary school in Amsterdam-Noord has decided no longer to teach about living on a farm. Various pupils began to demolish the classroom when the pig came up for discussion. Apparently it has gone that far. These children, 9, 10 years old, have not been given even the most elementary rules at home about why they must go to school.”
Jenkins has his work cut out for him.

She’s preggers…the last time she was with child, the show’s dresser’s played up her top area. All for May sweeps ratings, you know. Which is why ABC honco’s will let Rosie rant and not take her off early if she continues in this vein because all they care about is the increased ratings even if people are only turning in to watch the train wreck.

I’m sorry. I’m a believer in free speech and the marketplace of ideas. But Rosie, again, has abused this right. She should be forcibly silenced by ABC, immediately. Besides the outright lying she is unable to conduct herself in civil discourse, as her constant and repeated interruptions of Elizabeth as she tried to respond proved.
Drudge points to a Roger Friedman article at Fox that claims that Rosie wanted to oust Walters and take over The View, and that this is reason why ABC and she couldn’t come to a “contract agreement” (i.e., Baba wouldn’t roll over and give the show to Rosie).
Friedman also says she’s already got offers from NBC and CBS for another talk show. I sincerely hope not. This would be a serious mistake for either network.
This woman should not be on TV. She’s insane. She should be, instead, at the business end of a thorazine drip, in a padded room with tiny barred windows near the ceiling.

BTW, this is the “Mission Accomplished” story. When President Bush landed on the USS Abraham Lincoln, the banner was hung in honor of the carrier’s mission. The carrier had been on a record long deployment (10 months) and was about to return to the States. In honor of their going home, the Mission Accomplished banner was hung to commemorate the event at the request of the crew. The unfortunate part of this was the President’s podium being set up with the banner in the background. The media did not adequately clarify the situation. The nuts have been running with story that the banner was there in reference to the War on Terror.

People are getting away with the most amazingly pathetic crap, and the fact that they’re not countered often, loudly and personally causes a base of “support” for more pathetic crap, because now it has precedent!
When some jackass says “fire can’t melt steel” on live TV, they need to be publicly pilloried until either they specifically repent or no one will speak to them anymore.

Please consider this: Rosie is simply one of the few honest liberals. It is much better for us when liberals are honest, because their real agenda and sympathies are then in plain view, instead of obfuscated behind layers of smokescreens. Rosie’s terrorist sympathies are refreshing, in a way, since, in my view, this is simply how the entire Left has felt since 9/11, but with all too few exceptions has not had the guts to state in public.
Thank you, Rosie, for daring to say what so many of your fellow travelers feel but won’t yet admit.
That said, I’m sure Rosie is still holding back quite a bit. Her full agenda would include the nuclear bombing or anthraxing of US cities, as justified retribution from al-Qaeda for all the horrors inflicted upon the world by America. Maybe she’ll have the guts to admit that, too, someday soon.

Hey, Rosie has finally convinced me that we are being WAY too judgemental about the terrorists, who are just people like everyone else. Be honest. Who among us hasn’t sawed off a human head of an infidel pig in a snuff video? Or driven a truck bomb into a supermarket? Or simply shot somebody in the head who disagreed with our religious practices? Hey, can you look in the mirror and honestly say you are morally superior to these people just because they have cut a throat or two?
“Terrorist” is such a harsh and judgemental term. Wouldn’t it be better to say that they are just human actors responding to the peculiar circumstances of their dynamic environment with an alternate mode of behavior expressive of their own unique moral continuum? Rosie is so right to condemn “terror” and “cell” as scare words meant to unduly influence our opinion against people who, for perfectly understandable reasons, would like to kill us and destroy America. Instead of “terror,” why don’t we just say “extreme boisterousness”? Instead of “terror cell,” wouldn’t it be better to say “jihad club”?
Rosie is so right to say that we have killed more Americans in Iraq than died on Sep 11 because, after all, didn’t we send them there? And really, aren’t we to blame for the deaths of everyone on Sep 11, too? After all, if America had not sent those innocent victims into the World Trade Center, those planes would never have knocked them down! If I can speak for Rosie, didn’t capitalism kill those people by luring them with high paying jobs into the WTC? They sat in their offices secure in the knowledge that fire could not melt steel, not knowing that Bush had their buildings wired for self-demolition. And all those people in the Pentagon would be alive today if Bush had not lured them out of the prisons and away from colleges into the military.
It’s pretty clear if you just get into Rosie’s head that America was to blame for it all.

What is really interesting about that is that every time Elizabeth begins to make a point, Rosie then changes the subject(shouting). She might as well say - I have run out of things to say on this subject so discussion closed here is the next talking point. Joy just sits there saying what Rosie says makes sense, what is the point of her even being there?

Barr Tipped To Replace O’Donnell on ‘The View’?

Rosie reminds me of characters in movies, Independance Day comes to mind, but there are plenty of other examples, who are apologsists for the enemy, and welcome them with open arms when they arrive, only to be the first to be disintegrated by a death ray. Doesn’t she realize an outspoken lesbian like herself would be quickly stoned to death, beheaded or hanged if these “mothers and fathers” had their way? Can she really be that dense?

Dudley - Short answer: Yes, she really is that dense.

Donald Trump is correct. Rosie O’Donnel is a bully.
She is loud.
She is shrill.
She spews emotional garbage and parrots left wing, fifth column, hate the USA nonsense, such as the claim that 600 some odd thousand have been killed (by America?) in Iraq.
She never once acknowledges the murder, kidnappings, rape, torture, and so on, perpetrated by Jihadis.
O’Donnel goes on to claim that she loves the troops (as much as Elizabeth does), and so on, but at every turn she works to give aid and comfort to the enemy, to spread lies, fabrications, and flat out fairy tales, and to undermine the task of the soldiers.
What makes her diatribe even more offensive is the fact that Joy Behar and whoever the guest was sitting to O’Donnel’s left were siding with her, and the audience can be heard agreeing as well by their responsive applause!
This pabulum on the View as exhibited in the video clip passes for day time television discussion and entertainment, yet it is clearly a left wing, fifth column, Jihadi supporting gab and propaganda fest!

Hey Bradky-guess what no one is meaner than the lefties like yourself. So, stuff it. That audience at the Spew who cheer on that fat one’s rants are as clueless as you and the rest of your move on friends.

Katherine Harris and Michelle can speak volumes about it.
