I like KP, but her constant refrain of “the Democrats want to secure the border” was enough to make a cat laugh. Her comment should have been “the Democrats want as many potential illegal voters crossing the border as possible”. At least that would have been accurate.

To be fair, the Republicans, as a party, are just as guilty as the Democrats of allowing our borders to become a sieve, which is one the reasons that the GOP took a bath in last year’s elections.

As long as we have Ted in office, the Dems have a cred problem on most issues. That is Ted’s value to our nation, we point to him as the “town drunk”.
I don’t know why the Republicans just don’t say “Well Ted voted for it, any sane and sober man then would have to vote against it”…end of argument.

Of course, if you want open borders, you will find many people crossing the aisle to climb in bed with even the most dispicable of people.

History will show that Bush’s greatest defeat was the inability to control of our borders.

Kirsten is unfortunately delusional if she thinks the majority of our lawmakers are America first on the immigration issue.

Only fierce pressure from American citizens has prevented another amnesty from taking place, yet.

Even with the heavy public demand for law enforcement, Congress and the Pres. still resist any meaningful action.

Who will win out, the will of the American people or the will of foreign nationals?

I was a little disappointed at how Bill’s behavior was so much like Rosie’s when she’s shouting down Elizabeth.

I think it was uncalled for. Bill’s absolutely right and Kirsten is totally wrong on this issue, but he didn’t need to adopt the methods that liberals use to stifle debate, ala Rosie.

My 2 cents.

It’s getting to point where O’Reilly flame broils Kirsten nearly every week. Maybe she should show up on the FoxNews studio set in one of those flame retardant suits that is routinely used by Hollywood stuntmen. If she did, do you suppose that Bill would figure it out?

If you had watched the segment, Michelle said there is a significant portion of the democrat party that believes that both parties have failed to get control of this “anarchy” on the borders. Watching the video above that Bryan linked, it’s about half-way in. (*finds himself incredulously amazed that he’s actually defending democrats – NO! It’s not democrats, it’s about the debate*)

Sorry, DannoJyd. I’m getting stuck on the semantics of this argument. I should give it up.

I watched the segment and never heard Kirsten actually try to defend Ted Kennedy. Her argument was that – to Michelle’s point – there were Democrats who do support securing the border. Bill was making another argument that the Democratic leadership (a.k.a. Kennedy, Pelosi, Reid) do not support securing the border. Bill lumped all Democrats together in his argument. It’s semantics folks – and this point of view is coming from a registered Republican.

This is fitting, I have just seen the future. Just got through wasting 2 hours watching Children of Men – boy weren’t those Brits tough on immigration! Why can’t I just watch a film without a damn liberal message, anymore?

Hell, I should be able just move onto the property of some hot-shot Hollyweird producer, right? He has to pay my doctor bills and feed me and give me work, right?

I wish more people would start getting as passionate as O’reilly on this issue.

Poor, poor Kristen. She has chosen to defend the indefensible, and she tried to defend Ted Kennedy!

Laws exist to serve the people of a country, province, state, country, town, or community. A country, and a people cannot long survive without being a country and people of law and order, and without enforcing existing laws, there can be no law and order.

Lack of enforcement breeds disrespect for the law, and this results in bedlam, anarchy, and a lack of peace of mind, safety and security for the citizens of the country or community.
