Freedom Folks Video: Illegal immigration march in Chicago

I embedded this first video in the May Day post, but still keep getting requests to see it, which tells me that I unintentionally buried it. So here it is: Freedom Folks run into tolerant, loving open borders advocates in Chicago today.

And here’s their second video. They estimate 150k pro-illegal immigration marchers showed up today in Chicago alone. That’s, what, a couple thousand miles from the border with Mexico?

Nothing infuriates me more than ILLEGAL aliens demanding rights from ordinary, legal, law-abiding Americans! GO HOME!

God knows we’d be treated like trash in their third-world countries if we went there and demanded the same. What mind-set illegally comes here from a backward culture and demands to be treated like ordinary citizens? I can’t understand the arrogance. Further, I can’t understand the ignorance of American citizens who attend these rally’s and support their arrogance by displaying the very heights of ignorance to our nations laws, and the impact on a society overwhelmed with illegal immigrants. These very @sshats will end up with a welfare state that can’t support or defend its citizens because it was overtaken by people who entered the country illegally; demanded equal rights, protection, and social services; and bankrupted the very country whose prosperity drew them in the first place. Again, GO HOME!

Their blackmailing this countries sensitivities with the anchor babies. They have signs in Dallas that say “don’t take away my mommy and Daddy” or “don’t take away my grandma!” The News was saying that the marchers were in the Hundreds but changed to the thousands as the walk went on. The people running the march were boosting the attendance numbers but the police said it was maybe half what the sponsors were saying.

“What mind-set illegally comes here from a backward culture and demands to be treated like ordinary citizens?”

That mind set is shaped an sold by two groups.

The United States legislature and the main stream media.

commonsensehoosier on May 1, 2007 at 11:38 PM

Agggghhhhhhh! Infuriating would be an understatement.

Why the hell are they calling for reform? To make it easier to sneak in? It’s like a damn victory parade.

Go away…

reaganaut on May 1, 2007 at 11:40 PM

damn man he had what looked like 1/3 of the whole march focused on him
very impressive

Defector01 on May 1, 2007 at 11:54 PM

Why o why do the lame liberal protesters always have a raggedy drum/bongo/tambourine thing going? Sometimes they’ll jump around to it. Are we really supposed to take them seriously when they do this in the name of their “cause”?
I would almost laugh, but then I hear some of the foul language and see the 12 yr old stunts they pull and it pisses me off.

hehehehe….moonbat convention!…so thats what it looks and sounds like.

lsutiger on May 2, 2007 at 12:26 AM

Reporting from Chicago a FOX journalist said that two counterprotesters were there with signs which read “we support immigration, the legal kind”, or something to this effect, and 40 policemen ended up protecting the two people.

I can’t express in words the fury which possesses me when I see those red flags, with a variety of com*unist/soci*list slogans and suspects on them.

If every day Americans knew how strong the communist message is coming from Mexico and South America they would back up even more on allowing new immigration.

If the rest of the country wants to end up just like the Democratic Peoples Republik of Kawleefornya this is a great way to do it.

The west won the cold war, will the communists win the hot peace?

I’ve had it with those wierdos.

I had a really good comment, but there’s some woman on The RedEye that looks just like Wonder Woman and I lost my train of thought.

Compromiso.

As far as the first video….
You usually have to go to a Kindergarten with all the kids on a sugar high to find a crowd with that level of maturity and obnoxiousness*.

(Or at least view a Hugo Chavez speech.)

*Obnoxiousness; Is that a word?

LegendHasIt on May 2, 2007 at 2:31 AM

Red Eye moved to 1 a.m. ? I waited until 2 to switch back to FOX and missed it.

How nice. People in Illinois think we should do nothing about the army of Mexicans flooding into Texas.

Out of sight, out of (your) mind I guess.

The loons in the first video reminded me of sissymarys whose lives are void of any real manliness. They seek out activities that allow them to get reeeeeeaaaall tough when they’re in a group. These are the same “people” (a term I use loosely) from huffpo, kos, and the other moonbat lefty sites who hide behind their computers using foul language and threats of violence.

WHAT is blowing smoke on a guy all about? “Take THAT!” “I’ll show YOU!” hahaha I hope I don’t meet that guy in a dark alley, he night blow smoke on me…or worse yet he might actually give me a dirty look!

Then there was the guy pointing his finger and jumping around like he just discovered aliens on earth. It reminded me of “Invasion of the body snatchers”.

And did that rather large “gentleman” (another loosely used term) call the camera dude a wigger?

When I look at behavior like that, I get a clear understanding of where all our social security money goes and the type of people who are getting paid to not have jobs.

csdeven on May 2, 2007 at 8:01 AM

This entire charade has nothing to do with “immigration” but everything to do with the Democrats buying new votes with economic and social favors and retaining political power. These rallies are socialist/communist events and no one should be distracted by the presence of the American Flag. The bottom line is that this is a massive invasion by illegal foreign nationals and it must be stopped.

At my first “Wolverine”-counter protesting america haters w/PW in Chi, possibly in the same spot-I had to deal with that crap.
This first mission we actually joined the protesters-and then put up our signs.
Mine was the PW sign that said except for “Ending….WAR NEVER SOLVED ANYTHING!”
I’m all of 5ft 2 125lbs and this jerk off decides to block my sign because no one wanted to hear what I had to say.

I spent the better part of the “rally” egging on ‘bubba’(no offense to bubbas on our side)with things about how powerful he must have felt getting in the face of a petite woman, and comments about liberal hypocricy.
Petite or no-I could’ve still kicked his neutered, metro sexual ass…’cept that mom and dad raised their quirky little daughter to be a lady.

You know the left-freedom for me but not for thee.

annoyinglittletwerp on May 2, 2007 at 8:48 AM

oooh-I forgot.
Last spring I was walking in the far southern Chicago suburbs-won’t name which one-that has a large mexican constituency. It was in the AM and I noticed some school buses lined up.
It was a school day but I had a suspicion
It was the day of the ‘immigration rallies’ so I asked some parents gathered around what was afoot.
I was told that the kids were going to Chicago to”march for their rights”.
I snapped back that the ‘kids’ should be in school.
What I SHOULD’VE said is that MY rights would be better served if the kids stayed in school and learned to be better citizens of the US!
My paternal grandfather was a LEGAL immigrant from Jewish Lithuania(now Ukraine).
His family assimilate…they didn’t go around begging for special ‘rights’.
What

Quote from a NewsMax article

“Nothing has happened since last year,” said Gloria Ramos, 51, a social worker at a children’s nonprofit who left her native Mexico for Oakland 32 years ago. “Things are getting worse for our people _ more discrimination, less benefits.”

She has been here for 32 years and is complaining about less benefits. Aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! This is the whole problem. We are subsidizing the lives of millions of people so that corporate America can have cheap labor.

brtex on May 2, 2007 at 9:12 AM

Pfew, having watched both of those I’m definitely od’d on this stuff for the day. NO MORE. PITY!!!!!!

Actually there seemed to be a decided majority of mexicans in that crowd. All the chanting sure had a strong mexican accent. The impression I get is that this doesn’t so much reflect local support for illegal immigration as the number of illegal immigrants present in the country. Anyone got any ideas about the respective numbers of mexicans vs. american citizens in that crowd?

Lehosh on May 2, 2007 at 6:22 AM

You must be vision-impaired, or maybe you didn’t watch the (second) video of the actual marchers. They are 99% Mexican. The first video is of the Communists and Anarchists that always stir it up on May Day. They’re just pissed off that the Mexicans stole their only holiday.

Come to Chicago some time, and then tell me all about your Mexican illegal immigration problem in Texas. Browse the Illinois State government web site of legislators looking for Mexican names, and then tell me about Texas.

Jaibones on May 2, 2007 at 11:05 AM

Too bad the LAPD couldn’t have been there to mediate.

John from WuzzaDem on May 2, 2007 at 1:56 PM

Is this a great country or what? That such can actually demonstrate without fear speaks well of the tolerance of Americans by and large. As for me, I think a couple of cluster bombs would have been appropriate.
