Is this an automatic reflex. Someone makes a comment remotely critical of hotair huffpo or whatever–insert conservative liberal icon–and you immediately shoot back with the liberal conservative equivalent? Did so, did not, did so, did not. Oy.

At least somebody noticed….

These are IMO the wired age equivalent of heavy breathers–these were guys who called you (back in the dark ages before caller ID) and breathed heavily–and moistly, yuck, into the phone. Lonely fellas if you get my drift.

The point being, it’s the medium, not the message, that’s changed. Some men are just incapable of interaction with women, which nets out as anonymous rage.

Slightly off topic but this reminded me of when my wife, who speaks english as a second language, first lived in the states. We started getting prank calls from one of the guys you described (I was never at home which led us to believe he had a copy of the unit recall roster) who would ask her “Did you just take a shower” or similar things. At that time her english was limited and being the sweetheart she is, she would ever so politely say “I’m sorry, I didn’t understand could you repeat please” He gave up after a few calls.

Where you referring to moi? Just askin’, cause this place has a lot more in refinement than say, huffpo, mon ami.

Just like when the Arabs say they are for peace, you need to know their definition in order to be having the same conversation that they are. Their definition of peace is what follows when Israel is destroyed.

Its not the posters fault that they engaged in that slightly excessive rhetoric. You just have to understand, what Bush is doing to this country, its effecting these posters in a deep way, and then for Malkin, a minority AND a woman who oughta know better, to support and march in lockstep for this evil man who is destroying our world through his pollution, war, and taking away of habeus corpus, it is VERY upsetting, and causes these negative emotions and feelings.

We need to have a dialogue about this so that these unfortunate
occurences happen less frequently, and maybe we can convince right wing demagogues like Malkin to put more consideration into what they say and write so that these things don’t happen.
