Even when the NY Times discussed Iraq’s nuclear program (in the context of criticizing the Bush administration for putting some info about it on a website, because then Iran had access to the info) the Dems never even paused their “Bush lied about WMD!” mantra. They’ll do it in a neutral way, saying that the claims are interesting, that “there may be something to it, not sure yet but we’re looking into it.” Because, after all, it’s plausible that the “scandal-ridden” Bushco could have done that, and more.
