The narrator sounded like he was describing the aftermath of a killer tornado. “Claimed 14 lives”

War is not nor has it ever been PC, war is hell and you don’t win a war against a brutal enemy through appeasement, politics, or being PC! Our enemy loves it when we take the “high road” when fighting them, they continually laugh at our willingness to “negotiate” cease-fires (like the Brits did) because they know they will never abide by the agreement and are only negotiating such agreements when they are getting their asses handed to them, enabling them to take the heat off and giving them time to re-arm, re-group, and plot their next moves!

The only high road I want to take is the one that allows us to shoot down at those bastards.

I think the WDU-4A/A is no longer in production. There is a limited production M255E1 flechette warhead available… very similar, fewer but larger projectiles.

Turns out, we do have this type of rocket, but the key word is flechette.

If there is one thing I learned from studying Public History… Context is everything.

Examination of context can show a reporter/historian’s biases or lack thereof.

I do not know if this reporter is intentionally biased as PRO-Terrorist/Pro Taliban/Anti-American. He may even believe that he is doing an even handed job. After all, he’s not referring to Americans as “Butchers”…

sigh.

I just… annoys me. To always be getting the shaft from the media. Even when they do a story that is Concieveably “Good” they always try to find a way to make Americans look bad.

The obvious risk of doing that is that if you (America) are constantly & wrongfully blamed and punished for doing “Bad things”

Sooner or later your attitude becomes one of “Well if I’m going to get blamed for it either way, then I’m going to get my money’s worth.”

Fools. Where’s the sense of self preservation? The Media would be the first to come under the thumb of an islamo-facist regime.

They triffle with machinations on an international scale the like of which could result in a second Dark Age… just to play their petty domestic political games and popularity contests.

The Media is supposed to protect Liberty… the so-called fourth estate. Yet The Taliban/Al-Queda represents the opposote of liberty. The denial of all freedom.
