Four arrested at Harvard for heckling FBI chief — two of them Crimson editors

Well, it’s good that they get this out of their system now, before they graduate, turn pro, dutifully shed themselves of their agendas, and achieve “objectivity.”

That’s what college is for, right? Experimentation.

Big surprise that they protest and disrupt an example of freedom of speech.

When I was a senior at UCI John Yoo was brought to school and those same type of protestors banged on the glass windows and stood up making moronic liberal diatribes and generally did not bother asking questions or participating in the discussion.

This is standard college student liberal reaction to speech that’s valid that they don’t agree with; shut them up!

Defector01 on April 27, 2007 at 1:41 PM

people seem to think that freedom of speech means the right to be heard as well.

“We will never forget the role of the FBI in McCarthyism!” screamed Michael A. Gould-Wartofsky ’07, who is also a Crimson editorial editor.

LMAO

Perfect insane screech that he came up with for a know-it-all Harvard effete dweeb, and he’s got the perfect name for a douchey Harvard jerkoff.

He’s graduating this year and he’s crying about the McCarthy??? Those profs have filled his head with creamcheese flavored with musty leftism…

Poor kid.

LMMFAO

Wow, this kid is quite the jagoff.

Hit the nail on the head, benrand.

Those profs have filled his head with creamcheese flavored with musty leftism…

I do believe he was home-schooled, if you know what I mean.

What’s with this “’07″ business? A bit presumptious talking about when you’re GOING to graduate before the fact, isn’t it?

The Monster on April 27, 2007 at 2:02 PM

Did they get their lines from Kucinich’s website?

amerpundit on April 27, 2007 at 2:07 PM

This guy was one of my editors at the Temple News in older days.

“Neo-socialist rage.” How cute.

It’s not quite as humiliating as putting down “Senior(7th yr.)”

Not sure why the first comment didn’t pop up, but this guy was one of my editors at The Temple News when I was in J-school there. He later rose to Editor-in-Chief.

“Neo-socialist rage.”

Dammit.

Boy, AP, are you old ! Since when “objectivity?” At least a half-dozen times in the last year I’ve heard from journalists that their only job is to “speak truth to power”, and to “hold the powerful accountable”, etc. That, of course, constitutes “balance”, as they are offering a counter to the deliberate hiding of Truth by Corporations and the Government (and, uh, Republicans). That’s not an “agenda” – that’s just getting the Truth out.

Note to parents of young children: If you don’t give them time-outs now, in another 20 years the FBI might have to.

More detailed info from the Crimson.

kiakjones on April 27, 2007 at 3:58 PM

Hey, leave ‘em alone. These Crimson editors were just trying to beef up their resumes to get jobs in the MSM. An arrest record for heckling the FBI Director could put you over the top in an interview with the major networks or big city papers.

I’m sorry, but didn’t McCarthy bat 1000 when he named names or at least threatened to?

What is it that happens to perfectly good kids when enter Harvard and turn into stark raving a**holes?

There is NOTHING so facist as a college liberal.
