You won’t listen to the troops or the Iraqi people when they say that what Reid says hurts the war effort. You won’t even listen to the terrorists who thank Reid for the assist.

So who will you listen to?

As expected, the MSM critics gave it rave reviews as, no doubt, did al Qaeda.

As for the Iraqi people, their worst fear, that America will leave them as we did in Viet Nam, will been realized.

But, not to worry, because as thousands of Iraqis will surely be murdered, as occurred after our ‘withdrawal’ from Viet Nam, Harry and Nancy will proclaim that, in America, “we now have peace in our time”.

What we are watching, people, is absolute moral bankruptcy in action. Reid and Pelosi are contributing to American deaths in Iraq just as surely as Kerry and Fonda did in Viet Nam. May they suffer the same eternal fate.

I believe what we’re seeing is another attempt at a political coup. And it’s been going on for 6 years.

When are the GOPers going to stand up and start slapping these traitors down? The GOP is in serious need of some balls.

Reid handed them a recruiting slogan, I’ll concede that. I’m just not convinced his comments tangibly made the insurgency any worse than it already is, however. The insurgents don’t seem to need much of an excuse to fight on.

This morning, the RS Insider saw Senator Feingold on CNN’s American Morning citing the US withdrawal from Somalia…

HOST: “[Your legislation] forces a redeployment of the troops because there’s a date certain that the funding will be cut off. … ”

Sen. Feingold (D-WI): “It’s just like Somalia. We had to get the troops out of there, it wasn’t working out. We didn’t take anything away from the troops”.

Also citing the US withdrawal from Somalia…

OSAMA BIN LADEN: “After a few blows, [America] rushed out of Somalia in shame and disgrace, dragging the bodies of its soldiers. America stopped calling itself world leader… I was in Sudan when this happened. I was very happy to learn of that great defeat that America suffered…”

And…

OSAMA BIN LADEN: “We believe that the defeat of America is possible … We experienced the Americans through our brothers who went into combat against them in Somalia, for example. We found they had no power worthy of mention. … America exited dragging its tails in failure, defeat, and ruin, caring for nothing. America left faster than anyone expected. … [America] gathered up its army, and withdrew in defeat, thanks be to God.”

Reid isn’t fit to hold the office of dogcatcher. Censure would be too good for him. He’s demonstrably helping the enemy by giving them propaganda victories against our troops. He is demonstrably helping the enemy while our troops are in a shooting war. What Reid has done isn’t dissent, and it’s certainly not patriotic.

Both Clintons have made the case to potential fund raisers that the U.S. will probably suffer a terrorist attack on the scale of 9/11 after the next President is sworn in — and that Hillary is the only Democratic candidate capable of handling such a crisis because of her Senate Armed Services Committee tenure and her years in the White House.

Does in make any sense for Hillary to support a premature withdrawal from this battle (Iraq) in the war against extremists if she believes there is another terriorist attack planned?

Seems to me her actions are in support of the idea of her being the most capable of handling the crisis.

In other words, Hillary is voting for Hillary. Harry and Hillary – two peas in the same pod.

But, in the meantime we can party and make the masses feel faux secure with “if only we’re nice to these people, they’ll leave us alone”. See London/Britain, and how less radicalized their imams have become, by simply being nice to them.

What Reid has done isn’t dissent, and it’s certainly not patriotic.

I’m sure everybody here knows that Jefferson didn’t say that dissent is the highest form of patriotism. But few people know what Jefferson actually did say about dissent:

Political dissention is doubtless a less evil than the lethargy of despotism, but still it is a great evil, and it would be as worthy the efforts of the patriot as of the philosopher, to exclude its influence, if possible, from social life.

According to recent Sandbox blog posts, we may be reaching a tipping point in Iraq – here’s hoping we reach one in this country, too.

I keep thinking if you used his words in such simple context, how utterly stupid they would be.

It’s half-time at the Super Bowl and Coach Reid comes walking off the field in a close game.

“Forget playing the second half, I think I’m going to have my guys come off the field because we’ve lost the game”.

The Democrats must keep the people of this country believing that there is no “war on terror” if they intend to stay in power. Their front line of military skill are pathetic hucksters like Kerry and Murtha, who serve to destroy the military for their own sake. This country has elected the biggest collection of anti-American Democrats ever assembled under one dome. The greatest single victory for Jihad in history.

Georgian among soldiers killed in suicide bombing

CARNESVILLE — A 19-year-old soldier from northeast Georgia was among nine members of the 82nd Airborne Division to die when suicide bombers attacked an outpost in Iraq.

PFC Ryen King was the second member of the 2005 class of Franklin County High School to be killed in Iraq in six months.

King was a two-sport athlete and member of the school’s Young Democrats.
King’s father, Jerry King of Bowersville, said his son told him he felt a “need to serve.”

Two suicide bombers struck the building in Diyala province on Monday, causing it to collapse. Twenty others were wounded in the attack.

King had been in Iraq since August. He had five sisters, ages 2 to 20.

In November, 20-year-old PFC Daniel Allman II of Canon died when his Humvee was hit by an improvised explosive device.

No other comment other then Reid has spit on all of them.

Yes, the Biden story is real. I’ve lost the link to it in the two years since it was published, but he actually said that we need to work with Iran’s “emotional needs.”

As for Reid, Biden, and the rest of their contemptible ilk, when did giving aid and comfort to the enemy become part of the Democrat party platform? (Rhetorical question–it was during the Vietnam War.)

If the Republican apparatus were up and running with any kind of efficiency, the RNC would be demanding of every Democrat in the nation running for (or serving in) any elected office to declare whether or not they agree with Harry Reid.

And if they had had the good sense to put Michael Steele in charge of the RNC, that’s exactly what would be happening.

The most famous one was caught.

She was a Japanese-American woman, named Iva Toguri, who ended up stranded in Japan at the outbreak of the war and then – she claimed- was forced to broadcast propaganda for the Nippon imperialists.

She was captured at the war’s end by the Allies, imprisoned, and later released, then Gerald Ford pardoned her after testimony from a POW (who was in Japan during WW II and who saw her broadcasting) spoke out in her favor.

She claimed she tried to insert hints that she wasn’t for real, and attempted to be as absurd as possible in her broadcasts so as not to be taken seriously.
