From the video clip, Kerry primarily says that he has never before heard the claims they are making (which is quite remarkable, if not unbelievable) and that he’ll investigate it. There’s no need to waffle when you haven’t even committed to a position.

So, I don’t see how it can be concluded that he is or is not a Truther from this clip. Am I missing something?

Don't worry too much, Claire. People are allowed to believe what they wish, and to shout it as loud as they can. If they are wrong, they are wrong. As long as they don't break any laws, it hurts nobody. Truthers won't ever gain very much traction, as long as Popular Mechanics is around.

Asking someone like a Kerry if there was an investigation is stupid. Ask the insurance company who had to pay off. You think they didn’t double-check before handing out that CA$H?

As for Kerry pandering to them, what else can he do? They hate Bush, don’t they? He can’t afford to laugh at anyone sharing his BDS.

Scary to think this sort of thing is now so prevalent that you need a prepared answer for it.

Hate to say I told everyone to get ready for this, and it’s only going to get worse. Within the year, the major networks will be doing big stories on the conspiracy theories, only they won’t seek out the debunking information that so many have worked so hard on over the years. They’ll tell the viewers that a lot of “questions are still unanswered” and they’ll have phone calls not returned from people in the administration, etc. that they’ll play up as odd that they wouldn’t want to talk about it, etc. etc. As always, arm yourself. Start by watching Screw Loose Change, then read up at the numerous debunking sites, and handles these assbags when they try to hit you with “The Truth”.

As for Kerry, he may not be “a Truther”, but he’s a scumbag for not ridiculing these people for their Trutherism.

How far he’s fallen, to be doing the rounds to such audiences.

For a book published by “Public Affairs”, it’s doing pretty well I suppose, ranked 35 at Amazon. I guess if you’re prepared to stoop this low to promote it.
